Background / History

Chen Hong began by restructuring Chen Lin's blacksmith shop into a high-technology enterprise centered on Soul Engine-derived products. Its early mining arrangement at Baiyun Mining Area allotted 60% of profits to Spirit Hall, 30% to the Heaven Dou Empire, and 10% to the guild; Spirit Hall also lent the organization a Pope's Edict as institutional backing. 34

The guild was officially founded in Suotuo City after securing trade agreements with Balak Kingdom, Heaven Dou Empire, and Spirit Hall. Chen Lin recruited more than twenty blacksmiths and over fifty apprentices through his Blacksmith Guild position, forming the first Production Department. 36 Chen Hong served as its Young Guild Master and technological architect, while Chen Lin became its president and nominal Guild Master. 41 183

Its early doctrine, the Theory of Technological Thinking, sought to liberate members' thinking rather than oppose any faction. Later scholars regarded the text as having evolved from a doctrine of thought liberation into a new Divine Canon. 35

Within a year, the guild had built more than 200 kilometers of hardened cement roads in Balak Kingdom, become Suotuo City's largest guild, absorbed the local Blacksmith Guild, and incorporated overlapping guilds into its industrial chain as suppliers. 41 Its growth was not entirely uncontroversial: during a period when Chen Hong was absent from Suotuo City, expansion and factory development followed a path he considered harmful to commoners. 162

Later Evolution

The Technology Guild eventually evolved into the Technology Federation, later associated with the Sun and Moon Continent as the Technology Sun and Moon Federation. It was not dissolved; instead, membership in the remaining Technology Guild became a mark of elite status within the larger federation. 564

Under this later system, Chen Lin remained Senior Guild Master while serving as the federation's first Chief Executive. Ye Lingling became Vice President of the Technology Guild, and Ning Lu directed ideological education. 564
