Background

Qian Daoliu is Spirit Hall's Great Angel Priest and one of the continent's Level 99 Peerless Douluo. He bears the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and previously halted his own Angel God Trial to remain behind as Spirit Hall's protector, placing the future inheritance of the Angel God position upon the next generation. His concern for Spirit Hall and Qian Renxue shaped that decision. 178 340

He initially regards Chen Hong's Soul Ring Form and Intent Studies as a foundational breakthrough for Soul Master civilization. Rather than dismissing Chen Hong for his low cultivation, Qian Daoliu values his intellect, sends a Soul Douluo to secretly protect him, and studies the work from its basic logic rather than forcing his way directly into the Realm of Intent. 179 206
