The Golden Cudgel Magic Wand
Daphne skipped and jumped onto the bed, waving at Astoria as she went.
"Come on, come on! Tom's stories are so interesting, a hundred times better than Hogwarts ' History of Magic classes!"
Astoria felt both shy and flustered, but she couldn't resist her sister's invitation and slowly moved closer.
He lay down on the other side of the bed, right next to Tom, sandwiching Daphne in between.
Tom cleared his throat and briefly repeated yesterday's content. Before long, Astoria was completely engrossed in listening.
He then proceeded to begin the new chapter. "After enduring countless hardships, Sun Wukong finally found the Grand Mage Bodhi."
"The Archmage has many disciples, each with the potential to Auror."
"But this monkey was very picky; he wouldn't learn this or that, which infuriated the Grand Mage Bodhi, who picked up his magic wand and struck him three times on the back of the head."
"As a result, at three o'clock the next morning, Sun Wukong secretly went to the Grand Master's back door."
"So those three gestures were a secret signal from the archmage, instructing him to come and teach him magic privately in the middle of the night."
"That monkey is really clever!" Daphne couldn't help but interject, and Astoria nodded slightly in agreement, her eyes full of curiosity.
"And then what? What spell did the monkey learn?" Daphne urged impatiently, wishing Tom would finish the story in one go.
Tom took a sip of water and deliberately spoke nonsense with a straight face, "The Grand Mage Bodhi took Sun Wukong to the Cave of the Slanting Moon and Three Stars."
He immediately asked, "I have a Stunning Spell here. One hit and it'll put someone to sleep. After that, you can do whatever you want. Do you want to learn it?"
The monkey shook its head like a rattle drum, saying, "If it can't grant immortality, I won't learn it!"
The Archmage then said, "Then I'll teach you the Disarming Charm, which can take away other people's wands at will. Do you want to learn it?"
"The monkey still won't learn."
The Grand Master grew extremely anxious and asked again, "I have the Avada Kedavra curse here; it can kill with a single blow. Do you want to learn it?"
The monkey's eyes lit up, and it immediately decided. "I'll learn this! I'll learn this! But I still want immortality!"
The archmage waved his hand and said, "Alright, then I'll teach you how to craft the Philosopher's Stone as well."
"What kind of great mage is this! He's clearly a dark wizard!" Daphne exclaimed, her cheeks puffed out in anger.
Tom continued his fabrication, "That monkey is incredibly talented, with a solid foundation in magic, it just lacks a wand."
"The other monkeys suggested that it go to the Dragon Palace of the Eastern Sea and ask the Fire Dragon King for a top-tier magic wand called the Sea-Calming Divine Needle."
"So it ran to the Dragon Palace of the Eastern Sea and asked the Dragon King for the magic wand. When the Dragon King refused, it took it by itself."
"A pillar that Sea-Calming Divine Needle, weighing 13,500 jin, can be large or small, thick or thin."
"That's not a magic wand; a magic wand can't be big or small."
"It's a magic wand, the Dragon Palace's magic wand, the one with the Golden Cudgel."
Tom smiled, looked down, and saw that Astoria was already fast asleep. He quickly lowered his voice.
"Sun Wukong took the Golden Cudgel from the Dragon Palace, and the Dragon King was furious, so he went to the Heavenly Court to complain."
"The Minister for Magic in Heaven is called the Jade Emperor, and he sent 100,000 Auror to capture Sun Wukong."
Before long, Daphne couldn't stay awake any longer, and her head lolled to the side as she fell asleep.
Tom then stopped talking, his consciousness entering the Study Space to continue studying alchemy.
For the next few days, the two sisters would come to Tom's room every night to listen to stories. After listening, they would stay in bed and refuse to leave, treating Tom's bed as their own private bed.
Mrs. Greengrass was completely unaware of this and still thought her little girls preferred to sleep in their own rooms.
They had no idea that they had already fallen for someone else, becoming infatuated with the big bed in Tom's room.
During the day, Tom would work himself to the bone, practicing the Flying Charm while also delving into alchemy.
The flight spell has made considerable progress, and alchemy has advanced by leaps and bounds thanks to the "feeding" of a large amount of materials.
It has to be said that alchemy is a very expensive profession. In just a few days, Tom used up nearly three thousand Galleon worth of materials, which made him gasp with heartache.
"Wow! What a beautiful bracelet!" Daphne skipped and hopped into Tom's alchemy room, her eyes immediately drawn to the bracelet he had just finished making.
It's called a bracelet, but it's more like a wide bangle, about three centimeters wide, with intricate and delicate patterns engraved on its bright silver surface.
It is also inlaid with several bright crystals, making it look exquisite and beautiful.
The girl tugged at Tom's hand and shook it pitifully. "Tom, Tom, can you make one for me too?"
"It would be even prettier if you replaced the crystal with gemstones. I have lots of gemstones in my room!"
Tom chuckled and ruffled her hair. "This is just a sample. I'll add some decorations, and I guarantee it'll look even better than this."
He picked up the bracelet and handed it to Daphne. "You've come at the right time. Help me test it out and see how effective it is."
Daphne's eyes lit up, and she asked curiously, "Tom, what's this thing for?"
"Anti-magic wand release bracelet," Tom said, putting the bracelet on Daphne's wrist.
The material has a built-in stretch function, automatically shrinking by two sizes to fit her slender wrist perfectly.
Daphne swung her arm, liking it more and more as she looked at it, her eyes crinkling with a smile, "Beautiful! So beautiful!"
"A good-looking person looks good in anything." Tom's casual compliment made Daphne blush and her mouth stretch almost to her ears.
"Then let's test it quickly! What do I need to do?" Daphne asked impatiently.
"Just stand still with your wand in hand. Once the wand leaves your hand, think about bringing it back to you, and concentrate just like you would when casting a spell."
"Oh! I understand!" Daphne instinctively reached for her wand, but she was wearing a pretty little dress today and there was nowhere to put her wand.
He quickly summoned his House-elf: "Parla! Parla! Quickly bring me the wand from my bedroom!"
Tom was both amused and exasperated. A wand is a wizard's second life; even when a normal wizard is sleeping, he has to keep his wand within easy reach.
Daphne, she actually forgot to bring it when she went out; she's incredibly careless.
Once Parla handed over the wand, Daphne gripped it tightly and stood still, while Tom took a few steps back, maintaining the initial distance for a proper duel.
It wasn't that he was afraid of being hurt by Daphne and insisted on using her as a target.
The main reason is that he has the talent of being invincible; even without infusing him with magic, Daphne might not be able to knock the wand out of his hand, making it impossible to test its effectiveness.
Of course, he will also control his power and will never hurt his little witch.
"Disarming Charm!" Tom chanted the spell softly, deliberately suppressing its power, afraid that too much force would shock Daphne.
Daphne felt an irresistible force on her hand, her fingers involuntarily opening, and her wand flew out with a "whoosh".
