The origins of Acolyte are quite ancient, Deathly Hallows are not just a fairy tale for children.

Back then, a group of wizards who were obsessed with the Deathly Hallows called themselves "Acolyte" and even created their own unique symbol.

An outer triangle represents the shadow, an inner circle represents the Resurrection Stone, and a vertical line runs through it, symbolizing the Elder Wand.

In this century, the meaning of Acolyte has completely changed.

Gellert Grindelwald used the Deathly Hallows Relics as a rallying cry and called his followers Acolyte, though wizards preferred to call them "Wizards' Party."

This makes the reason for Newt Scamander's attack quite clear.

When Gellert Grindelwald fell from grace, Albus Dumbledore was the primary culprit, Newt Scamander was second, and the rest couldn't even crack the top ten.

Newt Scamander sighed, looking at the middle-aged wizard with bloodshot eyes before him.

"Judging by your age, you didn't even participate in the war back then, so why would you harbor such a deep grudge against me? Who is your father?"

Just as the wizard revealed his identity Acolyte, Tom quietly activated his Study Space.

The next second, the middle-aged wizard and the silent Gellert Grindelwald in the space actually shouted out the same name in unison, "Simon Macduff."

Newt Scamander frowned and thought for a long time before finally remembering the man, who was considered Gellert Grindelwald's capable assistant.

His status wasn't high; he was placed in the second tier. "I remember your father didn't die in the war."

"He died in the Bastille last year!" Macduff's voice was deep and harsh.

"You ruined Lord Gellert Grindelwald's great cause, and my father died in despair. Why should you, the murderer, go unpunished?"

"I will kill you today, to avenge Lord Gellert Grindelwald and my father!"

"My companions who came with me are all descendants of Acolyte. Newt Scamander Scamander, our feud will never end!"

"I lost today, but I have sons and daughters, and they will have descendants in the future."

"Unless you die now, you can expect our endless revenge for the rest of your days!"

Macduff screamed hoarsely, his eyes bloodshot, his gaze filled with a desire to devour Newt Scamander alive.

Newt Scamander sighed again; this wasn't the first time he'd experienced such a vendetta between Acolyte.

He had only enjoyed a few years of peace and quiet after retirement, and naively thought that this feud was over. He was being too simplistic.

"Tom." Gellert Grindelwald suddenly spoke in the Study Space, his voice weaker and more pleading than ever before.

"I've wronged them, please help me, let them go."

"Remember this gesture, show it to them, and tell them not to bother Scamander again."

Tom ignored him and turned to Newt Scamander, asking, "What are you planning to do with them?"

Newt Scamander was silent for a few seconds, then waved his hand. "Macduff, you guys can go."

Macduff was stunned, his face filled with disbelief. "You're not going to kill me?"

"I've never killed anyone in my life," Newt Scamander shook his head.

"I have no grudge against you. If anyone should be held responsible, it should be between me and your father."

"As long as you don't touch my family, you can do whatever you want."

Although the Acolyte are extreme, their reputation is better than that of the Death Eater, and they are related to wizards throughout Continental Europe.

They assumed that grudges would only be settled personally, without involving family members.

This is why Newt Scamander's children and grandchildren travel all over the world without ever being bothered by the Acolyte.

Just now, Macduff only said that Newt Scamander should die, without mentioning Tina Goldstein or her family at all.

But what shocked Macduff even more was yet to come. Tom patted him on the shoulder, not with much force, but Macduff sat back down.

Tom released his grip, stood up, took two steps back, and made a strange gesture toward Macduff.

Make a fist with your left hand, thumb raised, palm facing inward, and draw a circle in front of your chest.

Macduff's eyes widened, his lips trembled, and his fingers shook.

Tom didn't speak, but he released a trace of mental pressure that made Macduff feel flustered.

He understood the warning in Tom's eyes: dare to speak recklessly, and you'll be dead.

Once Tom was certain that Macduff wouldn't dare to cause trouble, Tom said to Newt Scamander, "Anyway, this is your problem. Just leave him here and we'll leave him alone."

Newt Scamander nodded, whistled, took a small snuff bottle from his pocket, and gently inhaled. The once incredibly thick Occamy shrank into a small snake and was sucked in.

Macduff was stunned; even after being freed from his restraints, he didn't dare to move an inch.

Newt Scamander then put the other Fantastic Beasts back into the box one by one.

"Tom, we're leaving."

Tom and Macduff brushed past each other, without even using their Flying Broomstick, they simply unfurled their wings and flew right up to Newt Scamander.

Only after the two figures disappeared into the night did Macduff slowly raise his burning arm.

There was a scar on the back of his hand that looked like a burn, spelling out several German words: August 20th, Paris.

"See that? Newt Scamander's character is just like that." Tom teased Gellert Grindelwald in the Study Space on the way to Thunderbird House.

"Even if I don't say anything, he won't kill anyone."

Gellert Grindelwald let out a long sigh, his tone complex.

"Despite our opposing stances, I must admit that Scamander is a good man, a good man who doesn't get along with me."

People like Newt Scamander and Albus Dumbledore possess unique charisma, and even those on opposing sides have many who admire them.

In contrast, Voldemort, that electrical outlet expert, was far inferior in this regard.

Tom glanced at the system panel; Gellert Grindelwald's approval rating had risen to 75, indicating that the Macduff incident had had a significant impact on him.

He even suspected that Gellert Grindelwald might be planning a comeback for the sake of the descendants of his old subordinates.

Newt Scamander was sullen the whole way back to camp, and just as Tom was about to enter his tent, he stopped him. "Don't you have anything to ask?"

Tom shook his head and lied earnestly, "Um, Uncle Newt Scamander, I have a lot of questions, but I'm afraid you won't want to answer them, so I'll just leave them be."

He knew perfectly well what was going on; the grudges and conflicts here were really nothing special, and besides, he had someone involved in the matter standing by his side.

Whether he asked Newt Scamander or not was irrelevant, but he could tell that Newt Scamander really wanted to talk, so he simply went along with it and waited for him to continue.

The two walked to the edge of the cliff, Newt Scamander looked up at the stars in the sky and spoke softly.

"You weren't surprised at all when you heard about the Acolyte and Gellert Grindelwald, which means you know a little about them."

Tom nodded. "I've seen it in history books, but this is the first time I've seen it in person."

"Gellert Grindelwald has been dead for fifty years, and there are still people seeking revenge for him. Why don't they go after Albus Dumbledore, but instead come after you?"

Newt Scamander's expression turned somewhat strange. "Looking for Albus Dumbledore? Even if Gellert Grindelwald hadn't been imprisoned, most Acolyte wouldn't dare, would they?"

"Besides, I've actually dealt with Gellert Grindelwald quite a few times."
