Tom explained, "This is the giant chessboard that Professor McGonagall set up during our challenge last semester."

"You can choose a piece to replace another piece while commanding the other pieces, or you can invite others to join the challenge."

"Come, Commander, lead us to defeat the evil black devil!" The White Queen spoke first, her Sonorus.

Several Black students nearby clenched their fists instantly, their faces turning dark.

Even though I know the White Queen was referring to the black pieces, this is still incredibly offensive!

"I'll give it a try!" Astoria's eyes lit up, and she immediately agreed.

She wasn't particularly skilled in magic, and its power was only average; she had no interest in fighting.

But chess is different; it relies on brains, which is precisely her strength.

"Remember, you're not allowed to bully Astoria," Tom instructed the black chess piece.

"Yes, Creator!" the black pieces replied in unison, their tone extremely respectful.

"Can I join?" Qiu Zhang leaned closer, her eyes full of expectation.

"Of course," Tom nodded. "You just stand in the positions of the pieces, and they will automatically leave the board."

The other little witches also came over and asked to join, and the good-natured Astoria agreed to them all.

For a time, apart from Astoria replacing the White Queen and the King who had no one to choose, all the other pieces on the White side were occupied by the little wizards.

But Astoria regretted it as soon as the game started. Each time, the one who had to be sacrificed was not a cold chess piece, but her classmate.

This made her hesitate and indecisive every time she had to make a decision, and she dared not make a move for a long time.

What's even more infuriating is that those black pieces are so cheap!

Each time a white piece is defeated, the player either makes a face at the player or says something sarcastic.

Either spray water from above, drenching the person completely, and then use their rear end (or a horse's rear end) to push them off the chessboard.

The entire message was "not very harmful, but extremely insulting."

The young wizards watching burst into laughter, while Astoria gave Tom a rare glare, her eyes filled with a hint of coquettishness.

I should have known better than to let so many people play. If I had kept a few original pieces, she could have played more smoothly.

The excitement here grew louder and louder, attracting even more students.

Ron and Harry rushed over when they heard the news. When they saw the giant chessboard, Ron's eyes lit up and he shouted at the top of his lungs.

"That's it! The piece this size was the one that beat Professor McGonagall back then!"

Unfortunately, no one paid him any attention; his three older brothers had already squeezed to the front to offer Astoria advice.

Everyone else was busy watching the excitement on the chessboard; who had time to listen to his boasting?

Harry, however, fixed his gaze on Megatron, his eyes filled with curiosity.

On his tenth birthday, Dudley received a Transfiguration toy from his Aunt Petunia's family.

Dudley it, not letting him even touch it, and it is still kept to this day.

But compared to the Megatron that Tom made, that toy was utter garbage.

Harry couldn't help but let his imagination run wild: if Dudley saw Megatron like this, maybe he'd immediately fall in love with magic and stop bullying him?

After a while, even the professors were drawn over.

Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick arrived together, followed by Professor Bathsheda Babbling, the professor of Ancient Runes, and Professor Sprout.

"What an exquisite Transfiguration Spell, Mr. Riddle." Professor McGonagall looked at the lifelike chess pieces on the board, her eyes full of smiles.

"Creating Wizard's Chess with independent thought is no easy feat; the way these pieces think is already close to that of humans."

"The application of the spell is also perfect!" Professor Flitwick exclaimed excitedly, standing on tiptoe.

"If this were in my class, I would definitely give you an extra twenty points!"

Tom immediately climbed up the pole, his face full of flattery.

"Professor, it's not too late to add it in the next class. I'm short on credits right now."

He's currently learning Ancient Magic, which requires him to frequently use his Supernatural Mode, so the credits are a necessity.

Professor Flitwick paused for a moment, then burst into laughter.

"No problem! But you have to share with your classmates the Mimicry Charm techniques used in these chess pieces; their movements are so precise!"

"Of course!" Tom readily agreed. After all, sharing a few tips would earn him credits, a win-win situation.

The sun was gradually setting, and the joyful time was coming to an end.

In the final round, Professor McGonagall took to the field herself, but her playing style was quite unconventional.

A set of black chess pieces was created on the spot using Transfiguration, and Tom was about to have a match with it.

The result was obvious: Tom lost.

Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration are no joke; those black pieces are practically extensions of her will, each move precise and ruthless.

During the contest, Professor McGonagall also shared a lot of experience and new ideas about Transfiguration, which greatly benefited Tom.

Ron was so anxious that he scratched his head and wanted to go on stage and replicate his heroic performance when he cleared the level back then.

But they arrived too late, and even after waiting in line until dark, it was still no use for him and Harry, which made Ron so angry that he stomped his feet.

Many students who didn't get a chance to play were also pounding their chests and wailing in despair.

"I've been looking all afternoon, but I haven't even touched it. It's so frustrating!"

"Mr. Riddle," Professor McGonagall hesitated for a moment before speaking, "I think this giant chessboard would be an excellent training method."

"It can not only improve students' teamwork, but also expose them to more excellent Transfiguration. Could you set it up again tomorrow?"

"Professor, this chessboard is yours." Tom pushed the chessboard directly to Professor McGonagall, looking quite generous. "You can arrange it; I have no objections."

"Thank you so much for your help, Mr. Riddle." Professor McGonagall was very pleased. "Slytherin receives thirty points for this."

In fact, with Professor McGonagall's abilities, she could create a giant Wizard's Chess of equal or even greater quality.

But what professors do is a test; what students do is leisure and entertainment. The two have completely different meanings.

Ross leaned closer, gave an awkward smile, and said somewhat embarrassedly.

"Um, Mr. Riddle, could I borrow Megatron for Megatron?"

Even the shameless Ross felt a little embarrassed to borrow things from others before making any contributions.

"You can borrow it," Tom nodded, "But you have to return it to me on Monday; I still need to modify and upgrade it."

As he spoke, he reached out and touched Megatron, certifying Ross's magic and granting him permission to control it.

Now, when I create this IChat, I need to ensure its privacy. Not just anyone can view the chat history. Tom's magic lock is already a master of it.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Riddle!" Ross grinned, immediately patting his chest. "Slytherin gets another fifty points!"

Tom gave him a knowing look, said goodbye to the professors, and turned back to the castle.
