Many Slytherin students in the room glanced at Tom instinctively, their eyes Winky.

Although Riddle never intentionally bullied his classmates, his past encounters with them all left others completely convinced of his superiority, so naturally no one dared to provoke him.

"Professor, there's no need to worry too much," Wilkinson explained patiently.

"Long-standing conflicts are inherently difficult to define as right or wrong, and forcibly suppressing them will not bring about genuine reconciliation between the two sides."

He looked at the two boys who were still hostile to each other, their eyes filled with a competitive spirit.

"Instead of rigidly assigning blame to both sides, it would be better to provide everyone with reasonable channels to vent their emotions."

"The arguments and misunderstandings of our youth are mostly forgotten after many years, and they even become interesting memories."

Deep down, Wilkinson silently cursed Graves, that bastard who still held a grudge against him.

McGonagall silently recalled the past, when she was a Gryffindor core member and had countless clashes and conflicts with Slytherin.

I can no longer remember the reason for the dispute; only the inherent barriers caused by our differing stances and personalities remain.

"I think this is a worthwhile idea," Wilkinson suggested. "I plan to ask Albus Dumbledore to let me teach a public dueling class."

"Holding the event every two weeks is sufficient; it can both teach practical combat skills and allow students to accumulate combat experience."

"Compared to students from Ilvermorny, our students have far too little experience in self-defense; many haven't even mastered the standard cane-holding posture."

These words made McGonagall look embarrassed. With other schools to compare her to, the differences were obvious in every aspect, and she was unable to refute them for a moment.

The students in the audience were all in high spirits, and Wilkinson's popularity soared instantly, rivaling that of the two most popular professors on campus.

As for who has the worst reputation, everyone knows the answer in their hearts.

The school bell rang on time, and McGonagall quickly finalized the decision.

"The Duelling Club will be temporarily suspended for discussion, and no action will be taken against those involved in this conflict."

"Any further public fighting will result in a full semester of suspension and disqualification from all Quidditch competitions."

Upon hearing this, Malfoy and Harry both calmed down.

"Wilkinson, I will discuss your suggestion with the principal. Now, everyone, head to your classrooms."

The students, still wanting more, gradually dispersed and headed to their respective classrooms.

After the morning classes ended, news of the Duelling Club quickly spread throughout the castle, and the vast majority of students were eagerly anticipating it.

During lunchtime, the faculty and staff seats were empty; none of the deans, including Wilkinson, showed up.

Everyone speculated that the group was discussing matters related to starting the course.

Inside the Headmaster's Office, a group of school staff members were gathered together.

Albus Dumbledore listened quietly as Wilkinson explained his plans for the Duelling Club.

"This is an excellent suggestion; students definitely need real-world experience to hone their dueling skills."

"I can assist with the teaching," Flitwick said in a light tone.

"In my youth, I was obsessed with dueling techniques, and I even applied for a teaching position in Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"It would be wonderful to have your help," Wilkinson replied gladly.

Although the overall level of Hogwarts students varies, the strength and foundation of the four house heads are in no way inferior to those of Ilvermorny's tutors.

"We need to make thorough preparations before the course begins," Albus Dumbledore said thoughtfully. "The primary challenge is convincing Madam Pomfrey."

"She always tries her best to avoid any kind of injury, even in Quidditch matches, she is often very hesitant, so it would be quite difficult for her to take on a riskier Duelling Club."

"I'll handle this communication," McGonagall volunteered.

"Appropriate combat training is essential; we cannot avoid combat simply because we are afraid of getting injured."

"Thank you for your hard work, Minerva." Albus Dumbledore smiled gently, then remembered another matter.

"Let's take this opportunity to finalize the system of Shadow Prefect as well."

McGonagall paused slightly, "Albus, you're finally willing to accept this proposal?"

"Yes, time is long and things cannot remain unchanged. Scholarship and management must also adapt to the times and cannot always stick to old rules and stagnate."

In the Headmaster's Office, the four deans each had a different expression.

Snape frowned, while Flitwick and Sprout looked completely bewildered.

They all turned to look at Albus Dumbledore, their eyes clearly showing ignorance.

"Shadow Prefect? What kind of system is that?"

McGonagall took over the conversation and patiently explained Tom's new system to the two bewildered deans.

Including the specific selection rules and scope of responsibilities, Flitwick immediately raised his hand in agreement after hearing the details.

Ravenclaw students are all quick-witted and imaginative, and are used to being free and Winged Horse.

They become chaotic and incredibly inefficient during group activities.

If each grade had Shadow Prefect to coordinate and manage the situation, the current chaotic situation would definitely be improved.

Sprout was somewhat conflicted.

Hufflepuff students are known for their diligence and obedience, and the current Prefect are reliable and responsible.

The academic atmosphere has always been stable, so creating this new position is really unnecessary.

The other three houses all agreed to implement it, but Hufflepuff refused, which inevitably made them seem out of place.

Sprout thought for a moment, then simply nodded in a Zen-like manner. Okay, let's just go with the flow.

With the approval of all four heads of the house, the new system was essentially finalized, and Hogwarts ' Shadow Prefect system was officially implemented.

Later that afternoon, the castle bulletin board was crowded with students, and a brand new announcement had set the entire school ablaze.

[The school will be holding an open class on dueling interest on Friday evening two weeks from now. Students who are interested in participating can gather in the Great Hall at 8 p. m. that evening.]

The news caused an instant uproar throughout the school.

"It really happened! The principal actually approved it!" Seamus clenched his fist, extremely excited.

"I've been wanting to have a proper match for ages, and now my dream is finally coming true!"

Neville, watching from the side, trembled with fear and quickly tried to stop him.

"Don't do anything reckless. If you really fight, there's a high chance you'll blow your opponent away, and that will definitely cause trouble."

A Ravenclaw student in the crowd, always eager for drama, deliberately raised his voice and shouted, accurately hitting a recent hot topic.

"What about the feud between Weasley and Malfoy on the stairs? Why wasn't their duel mentioned in the announcement?"

These words immediately ignited Ron's anger, and he retorted with a harsh remark.

"I'll personally challenge Malfoy in Duelling Club two weeks from now! Let him get ready!"

After saying that, he turned and left, leaving behind onlookers with knowing smiles.

Everyone knew perfectly well that if Ron said this in front of the whole school and then didn't dare to start a fight, Ron would completely lose face.

"Waiting another two weeks is too agonizing!" one of the young wizards couldn't help but groan, his words echoing the sentiments of everyone.

"There's no other way. Professor Wilkinson probably needs to prepare in advance. Just bear with it a little longer, it'll only be another two weeks."
