The pot of blue liquid was poured into a small earthenware jar and sealed.
"I just don't understand. Is there really no way to replace Fluxweed on the night of the full moon?"
After Devero had cleaned up the mess left by the experiment,
he began pacing around the laboratory.
"It was the same last time. Even though I used Silver-banded Krait fangs to replace African Tree Snake skin, I still could only finish the first stage in a single day on the night of the full moon. There really doesn't seem to be any other way."
Devero was currently in the Room of Requirement.
This time, he had asked for a private potion-brewing laboratory that no one else would discover.
Clearly, he had succeeded in getting inside.
And Voldemort's Horcrux hadn't appeared, either.
It seemed that as long as Devero didn't go to the room where things were hidden,
the Room of Requirement was safe.
So, once he'd figured that out,
he had moved half of the potion ingredients from Snape's Storage Room into this room yesterday.
Snape hadn't noticed yet.
Devero wondered what he would think when he found out.
Devero imagined the expression Snape might make,
and couldn't help chuckling.
"Professor, you said I could use whatever I wanted. I was only following your instructions."
Devero plopped down on a tall stool beside the square table
and took out a piece of parchment.
"This week has felt so long. I should take stock of what I've gained and what I plan to do next."
Devero picked up his quill and immediately wrote a sentence.
"Entry collection progress."
As he thought, Devero turned his gaze to the status panel he'd barely looked at in days.
