Vegeta clenched his fists tightly and let out a wild roar. A tangible shockwave of energy exploded from his center, instantly pulverizing the surrounding rocks into dust.
By the standards of combat power, his base strength had undoubtedly broken through the one-hundred-million mark! This terrifying power, capable of destroying the world with a mere gesture, made him tremble with excitement.
"Excellent! Excellent! What marvelous power! I, Vegeta, am the strongest Saiyan!" Vegeta laughed arrogantly.
But as his gaze swept over Son Gohan and Trunks standing not far away, his laughter stuck in his throat.
Even though he possessed such terrifying base combat power, why did those two figures in black cloaks still look like bottomless black holes to him?
Just how strong were they?
Vegeta struggled to suppress the shock in his heart and asked through gritted teeth, "What next? What must I do to become a Super Saiyan?"
Trunks walked slowly to Vegeta and said calmly, "The trigger for the Super Saiyan transformation is extreme rage, or focusing your energy into your back. I suggest you try both methods simultaneously. Recall the thing that makes you feel the most humiliated and let that anger explode completely."
Anger, humiliation?
Lin Fan's incredibly arrogant and conceited face involuntarily surfaced in Vegeta's mind, along with the look in his eyes as he peered down at him like he was trash.
"That piece of scum... unforgivable!" A terrifying blood-red light suddenly flickered in the depths of Vegeta's eyes.
As the proud Prince of all Saiyans, he had been wantonly trampled underfoot multiple times by some low-class mongrel who had appeared out of nowhere!
"Unforgivable! Unforgivable!!!"
Vegeta's face twisted into a grimace as he roared like thunder, frantically gathering all his energy into his back.
BOOM!
The earth shook violently, and the sky darkened in an instant. A violent, golden aura erupted from Vegeta's body like a volcanic eruption, and the surrounding space even began to distort under the weight of this terrifying energy.
His originally pitch-black hair stood on end, gradually turning a brilliant gold, while his eyes shifted to a cold, piercing green.
Super Saiyan 1!
A fifty-fold increase. Five billion in combat power!
At that very same moment, the Z Fighters training across the globe were all struck with a sense of dread by this sudden, terrifying aura.
At Mount Paozu, Son Goku, who had been chopping wood, suddenly dropped his axe and stared at the horizon in shock. "This aura... it's so massive! Is it Vegeta?!"
At Kami's Palace, Piccolo broke out in a cold sweat, his eyes wide as he stared downward. "Is that Vegeta?! How could that dangerous guy suddenly possess such exaggerated power! The Earth is in even greater danger now!"
At Kame House, Krillin was so frightened he fell to the ground, unable to even speak properly.
In the valley.
Son Gohan looked at Vegeta, who was wreathed in golden flames, and spoke faintly, "How do you think you compare to that guy named Lin Fan now?"
Vegeta felt the power coursing through his body, as if it could tear the universe apart, and a cruel, cold smirk curled his lips.
"You mean that low-class Saiyan?" Vegeta's knuckles cracked as he clenched his fists. "I could crush him into pulp with a single finger right now!"
Son Gohan pulled down his black hood, obscuring most of his face.
"Go," Son Gohan commanded. "If you are outmatched, remember to use what I gave you."
But Vegeta was no longer listening to a word Son Gohan said; he only wanted to trample Lin Fan under his feet immediately to satisfy his burning hatred!
He pushed off the ground with explosive force.
RUMBLE!
The spot where he had been standing collapsed into a massive crater hundreds of meters in diameter. Vegeta transformed into a blinding golden streak of light, carrying unparalleled killing intent as he tore through the clouds and raced toward West City.
Trunks stared blankly at the direction where Vegeta had vanished before turning to look at Son Gohan.
"Let's go, Trunks." Son Gohan slowly rose into the air. "We will follow him and see what exactly this Lin Fan is made of."
BOOM!
A deafening sonic boom exploded over West City.
A brilliant golden streak of light tore through the clouds like a meteor, hovering arrogantly directly above the headquarters of Capsule Corporation. The violent shockwave turned into a tangible hurricane, sweeping downward. Within a radius of several miles, the glass of every skyscraper shattered simultaneously, and countless shards of glass poured down like a torrential rain.
Piercing sirens rang out across the city, and the crowds on the streets scrambled in terror.
Vegeta crossed his arms, looking down from above at the incredibly luxurious private estate. He was wreathed in scorching golden flames, his green eyes filled with undisguised brutality and killing intent.
"Lin Fan! Get out here and die!"
Vegeta's roar, mixed with his violent energy, sounded like a thunderclap from the heavens, making the entire West City tremble.
Below, in the massive living room of the Capsule Corporation headquarters.
Lin Fan was squinting his eyes, enjoying a massage from Launch, when the sudden, massive impact shook the entire villa violently. The grapes Mai had been peeling fell directly onto the carpet, and Bulma screamed in terror, shrinking tightly into Lin Fan's arms.
"Lord Lin Fan, what happened?" Bulma asked, her face full of fear.
Lin Fan opened his eyes abruptly, a flash of extreme gloom passing through them. He pushed Bulma away, stood up, walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, and looked up at the sky.
When he saw the figure in mid-air, glowing with golden light and sporting spiked hair, Lin Fan paused for a moment before a look of utter contempt curled his lips.
"I wondered who was so tired of living; it turns out to be that trash, Vegeta." Lin Fan twisted his neck, his bones cracking. "It seems the lesson he learned on Namek wasn't enough, since he dares to come to my territory and bark."
At the same time.
On the roof of a hundred-story skyscraper not far from Capsule Corporation.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Three figures appeared out of thin air almost simultaneously.
Seeing that Vegeta had come to cause trouble for Lin Fan rather than to destroy the Earth, they all breathed a sigh of relief.
Krillin stood at the edge of the roof, pointing at Vegeta in mid-air with cold sweat streaming down his face. "Is... is that Vegeta?! How did he turn gold? That energy... it's exactly the same as what that Lin Fan had on Namek!"
Krillin swallowed hard, his voice trembling. "Has he lost his mind? Even if he has become a Super Saiyan, he still can't win against that monster!"
Piccolo, standing beside Krillin, clenched his fists tightly, his expression shifting between uncertainty and rage.
"As long as he doesn't blow up the Earth, it's fine." Piccolo gritted his teeth, glaring fiercely at the villa in the distance where Lin Fan was located. "If Vegeta can wipe out that bastard Lin Fan, that would be for the best!"
Piccolo hated Lin Fan just as intensely. On Namek, Lin Fan had not only stolen all the glory but had also humiliated them, the warriors, by stepping on them one by one in an incredibly degrading manner. If the gap in their strength hadn't been so despairingly wide, Piccolo would have rushed forward even faster than Vegeta.
On the other side of Piccolo, Son Goku gripped his fists so tightly that his nails dug deep into his palms, blood dripping onto the concrete roof through his fingers.
The usually carefree Son Goku, who was always filled with passion for battle, now had eyes bloodshot with crimson, his chest heaving violently, his entire body radiating an aura of suppressed, extreme fury.
"Goku..." Krillin looked at his friend's state, his heart aching.
He knew all too well how Goku had been suffering during this time.
Since that guy named Lin Fan arrived on Earth, he had acted with total lawlessness, harassing anyone he saw on the street, and almost no beautiful woman could escape his clutches.
Relying on his invincible power, he had not only forcibly taken Bulma and the others, but had even set his sights on Chi-Chi. During this period, Lin Fan would fly to Mount Paozu every few days to provoke and harass Chi-Chi with incredibly vulgar language.
To protect his wife and son, Goku hadn't even dared to go train, nor had he dared to step a single foot outside his home.
But what made Goku feel the most despair and humiliation was that no matter how hard he tried, he could not defeat Lin Fan.
Even when he gave his all and pushed the Kaioken to its limit, he couldn't even harm a single hair on Lin Fan's head. Lin Fan would toy with him like a cat playing with a mouse, beating Goku until he was covered in wounds right in front of Chi-Chi, before leaving with a few vicious taunts.
The kind-hearted Goku had been pushed to the very edge of insanity.
"Vegeta!" Goku stared fixedly at the golden figure in mid-air, his voice terrifyingly hoarse. "Whatever method you used, if you can kill him, I, Son Goku, will owe you my life."
In the clouds far away.
Son Gohan and Trunks were draped in large black cloaks, their energy suppressed to absolute zero as they quietly looked down at everything below.
Trunks' gaze bypassed Vegeta, locking onto the man in front of the villa's floor-to-ceiling window, as well as Bulma standing behind him.
"That's... Mother!!" Trunks trembled all over, his eyes burning with violent rage.
He saw the brainwashed Bulma, saw Mai wearing a maid outfit, and saw Launch, who had completely lost her sense of self. That piece of trash named Lin Fan had turned this timeline into a chaotic mess, actually turning the people he cherished most into slaves for his own amusement!
Trunks took a sudden step forward, ready to charge down.
A hand pressed firmly onto his shoulder.
Son Gohan looked down with an expressionless face, his tone extremely calm. "Don't be impulsive. If you go down now, you'll only disrupt the plan. We must first figure out what exactly that 'source of chaos' is relying on."
