Rumble—!

The deafening roar exceeded the limits of human hearing. At this moment, Planet Vegeta seemed to transform into a supernova on the verge of detonation.

Pitch-black beams of destruction rained down like a dense storm, slamming frantically from every direction against the hemispherical barrier Son Gohan had erected. Driven by demonic power, those ten thousand Demonized Golden Great Apes had drained every last ounce of their life force, pouring out all their desire for destruction.

Each beam possessed enough power to easily pierce through a galaxy, and now, ten thousand of them converged on a single point.

Trunks stood within the barrier, surrounded by an apocalyptic scene filled with blinding light. The ground had long since ceased to exist; they hovered in the void, with the bottomless core of the planet beneath them, where boiling magma was instantly vaporized the moment it surged forth by the terrifying energy.

"Such terrifying energy..." Trunks gritted his teeth, cold sweat streaming down his body. He found it extremely difficult even to breathe. If not for Son Gohan's protection, the mere shockwaves generated by this clash of energy would have been enough to crush him into nothingness in an instant.

He looked up at the back standing before him.

Son Gohan remained in a stance with his arms extended forward, his wild black hair dancing violently in the raging energy storm.

"Brother Gohan... this planet can't hold on much longer!" Trunks shouted. He could feel that the magnetic field of Planet Vegeta had completely collapsed and the core was shrinking rapidly—the precursor to a planetary explosion.

Son Gohan remained expressionless, his golden eyes sweeping coldly over the frenzied Great Apes outside the light shield.

"A dying struggle." Son Gohan snorted, his low voice remaining clearly audible amidst the earth-shaking explosions. "Ants, no matter how many of you there are, you are merely providing a laugh."

He slowly lowered his arms.

The green barrier vanished instantly.

Trunks's pupils contracted sharply.

"Roar—!"

Without any obstruction, the ten thousand pitch-black beams surged forward like a burst dam, swallowing the location where the two stood with the momentum to destroy everything.

Inside the royal palace.

Kakarot stood before the massive void screen, watching as it was completely stained pitch-black, a look of intrigued amusement curling his lips. "How truly reckless. No matter how powerful, to take a coordinated attack of this magnitude head-on, it is impossible to be completely..."

But before he could finish his sentence, his smile froze on his face.

Crack!

A crisp, shattering sound echoed from the screen.

Immediately following, at the center of the pitch-black energy torrent, a point of piercing crimson light suddenly ignited, then expanded at a speed exceeding light itself.

Boom—!!!

A crimson aura, ten and a hundred times more violent than before, erupted like a materialized volcano, forcibly tearing the massive black energy torrent to shreds from the inside out!

Son Gohan hovered in mid-air, while Trunks behind him was firmly protected by an independent layer of green energy.

"It's my turn." Son Gohan raised his head, his wild eyes scanning the ten thousand Demonized Great Apes, each dozens of meters tall, surrounding them.

The Great Apes let out violent roars, opening their blood-filled maws once more in an attempt to condense a second wave of attacks.

"Disappear."

Son Gohan slowly raised his hands, palms facing each other at his waist.

The blue Kamehameha and the dark green Massive Meteor merged perfectly at this moment, transforming into a blue-green orb of light so blinding it defied description. The moment this orb appeared, the surrounding space began to crumble inch by inch like fragile glass.

A terrifying combat power of sixty quadrillion was frantically compressed into this single strike!

"Massive—"

The orb expanded instantly to a size that blotted out the sky. In the face of this power, the entire Planet Vegeta seemed as insignificant as a speck of dust waiting to be crushed.

"—Kamehameha!!!"

Son Gohan let out a battle cry that shook the galaxy, thrusting his hands forward violently.

A blue-green beam of light that spanned heaven and earth roared outward.

The moment the beam touched the first Demonized Great Ape, the creature didn't even have time to scream before its massive body was vaporized. The beam swept outward in a fan shape, and wherever it passed—be it Great Apes, ruins, or the wreckage of indestructible interstellar warships—everything was reduced to ashes under this absolute power.

It was a clean sweep.

The beam grazed the surface of Planet Vegeta, leveling more than half of the planet's crust along with everything upon it. Subsequently, this world-destroying power pierced through the atmosphere and plunged into the depths of the universe, instantly vaporizing several satellites and millions of asteroids along its path, leaving behind a pitch-black vacuum trail.

A few seconds later, the storm subsided.

The blinding glare gradually faded.

Trunks stared blankly at the scene before him.

It was gone.

Everything was gone.

The Planet Vegeta and the ten thousand Golden Great Apes that had been covering the mountains and plains, radiating terrifying demonic auras just moments ago, now didn't even have a scrap of residue left.

Half of the entire planet's surface had been shaved away, exposing the dark red mantle. The giant artificial full moon in the sky had also completely dissipated in the wake of this power, replaced by the boundless, pitch-black universe.

It was truly comparable to the power of a god.

Trunks swallowed hard, his eyes fixed on Son Gohan with nothing but pure, unadulterated worship.

Son Gohan slowly withdrew his hands, the aura around him gradually calming, save for his wild, long hair still dancing wantonly in the gale. He paid no mind to the ants he had erased, instead turning his head slowly to cast his gaze toward that conspicuous building.

It was the only place that had not been destroyed by the energy sweep.

Saiyan Palace.

The magnificent Saiyan Palace was surrounded by utter devastation, with the very mantle of the planet torn open and exposed, yet the towering palace and its foundations stood firm and unscathed.

"Still not planning to come out, Kakarot?"

Son Gohan's voice was not loud, yet it carried clearly into the depths of the palace.

"Clap. Clap. Clap."

The crisp sound of applause rang out abruptly across the deathly silent planet.

Kakarot wore a dark-gold, form-fitting combat suit. On that face, identical to Goku's, hung a gentle smile that felt deeply unsettling. He stepped out from the palace, treading upon the void as he made his way toward Son Gohan. With every step he took, the ravaged earth beneath him eerily restored itself to its original state.

"A truly spectacular performance, Son Gohan." Kakarot looked down at Son Gohan from on high, his eyes filled with the curiosity one might show a rare animal. "I had thought that after that fool Broly died, I would never see such pure savagery again. I never expected that you would not only inherit that power but also master a transformation form I have never even seen before."

Trunks felt a chill shoot from the soles of his feet straight to the top of his head.

The moment Kakarot appeared, every cell in his body seemed to be screaming in terror. This man, wearing the exact same face as Uncle Goku, was dangerous beyond anything he had ever known!

Son Gohan looked at him coldly. "You don't seem to care at all. Your subordinates, and that Vegeta fellow, were all wiped out by me."

"Care?" Kakarot couldn't help but laugh at the words. "Why would I care? They were nothing but trash. Besides, in my eyes, there is no difference whatsoever between life and death!"
