After the martial arts tournament concluded, everyone held a grand celebratory banquet in New Vegeta City. At the banquet, people ate, drank, and reveled in the lively atmosphere. Krillin had too much to drink and was dragging Tien Shinhan around, insisting they become sworn brothers; Gore and Lanno were playing chess in a corner; Luo Ling sat alone on the roof, drinking and watching the stars fill the sky. Son Goku was pulled into the garden by Chi-Chi. Under the moonlight, Chi-Chi's face was flushed, her eyes flickering. "Goku, I have something to tell you." Chi-Chi's voice was as thin as a mosquito's. "What is it?" Son Goku was still chewing on braised pork. "Do you... are you willing to marry me?" Chi-Chi gathered her courage to say it. Son Goku paused for a moment. "Marry you? Does that mean being together all the time? Yes! Together for a lifetime! Sure!" Son Goku grinned. "Your cooking is delicious, and if I'm with you, I can always eat good food!" Chi-Chi's tears welled up. She threw herself into Son Goku's arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Son Goku patted her back awkwardly, having no idea what had happened.
The next day, Son Goku found Kashu. "Brother, Chi-Chi said she wants to marry me. What is marriage?" Kashu looked at his younger brother's ignorant face and explained patiently, "Marriage is when two people form a family, have children, and support each other for a lifetime. Chi-Chi likes you, and you like her, so she wants to marry you." "I do like her! Her cooking is delicious, and she's a good person too," Son Goku said. "But can I still train after I'm married?" "Of course. Chi-Chi won't stop you from training." "Then can I fight?" "Yes. But you can't hurt people for no reason." "Then can I eat lots of meat?" "...Yes. Alright then, I'll get married!" Son Goku made the decision. When the news reached Chi-Chi's ears, she was so excited she didn't sleep all night. Upon hearing the news, Ox-King wept with joy: "Finally... finally someone wants to marry my daughter!" The wedding was set for three months later. During these three months, many things happened in New Vegeta City. First, Launch became pregnant. That morning, Launch was cooking in the kitchen when she suddenly felt a wave of nausea. She ran to the bathroom to vomit, and after she finished, she looked at herself in the mirror, her face pale. "Launch, what's wrong?" Tights walked in. "I... I don't know." Launch shook her head.
Tights looked at Launch's state, and her heart skipped a beat. She brought over a pregnancy test—invented by Bulma, it could quickly detect Saiyan pregnancies. Two lines.
"You're pregnant," Tights said calmly. Launch's pupils dilated sharply. "What?!" "You're pregnant. And the father of the child is—Kashu?" Launch's face turned bright red instantly, and she did not deny it. That night, Launch found Kashu and handed him the pregnancy test. "I'm pregnant." Launch's voice was soft but firm. "It's yours."
Kashu looked at the two lines on the test and was silent for a moment. Then, he gently hugged Launch and whispered in her ear, "Thank you." "Thank you for what?" Launch's voice was slightly choked. "Thank you for being willing to bear my child." "I... I am willing." Tears streamed down Launch's face.
After the news spread, Bulma and Tights had different reactions. Bulma found Launch, fuming: "You beat me to it!" "No one was racing you," Launch (blonde mode) pouted. "If you want to have one, have one yourself." "I... I want to too!" Bulma stomped her foot. "But Kashu is always busy training, when would he have the time..." "Then make him have the time," Launch said. "Men don't understand women's affairs. You have to fight for it yourself." Tights was much calmer. She found Kashu and sat with him on the roof, watching the stars. "Kashu, Launch is pregnant," Tights said. "I know." "What do you plan to do?" "Marry her," Kashu said. "Of course, I will also marry you and Bulma." Tights turned her head to look at Kashu's profile. Under the moonlight, his features were as perfect as a sculpture. "Are you serious?" "Serious." Kashu turned to look at Tights. "Tights, I like you. I've liked you since the first time I saw you. Your maturity, your wisdom, and your gentleness all move me. I know that my polygamy is unfair to you, but I will spend my whole life making it up to you." Tights's eyes turned red. She leaned gently against Kashu's shoulder. "I don't need compensation. I only need you." Next was Bulma. She was the most proactive of the three, and also the oldest—four years older than Kashu. She didn't care about the age gap, nor did she care that Kashu had other women. "Kashu, I want to have your child too," Bulma said directly. "Okay," Kashu said. "Just like that? Aren't you going to think about it?" "I've already thought about it," Kashu said. "Bulma, you were the first woman to enter my life. Your intelligence, your liveliness, and your kindness all fascinate me. I will marry you." Bulma's eyes turned red, and she threw herself into Kashu's arms: "You finally said it... I've waited so many years..." The wedding for the three of them was scheduled after Son Goku and Chi-Chi's wedding.
Goku and Chi-Chi's Wedding. In the summer of AGE 752, Goku and Chi-Chi's wedding was held at the Frypan Mountain castle. The castle was decorated festively, with red silk ribbons and lanterns hanging in every corner. Ox-King wore his most formal attire, standing at the castle gate to welcome the guests. The guests arrived one after another. Master Roshi brought Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu; Bulma brought her parents and sister; Launch, Yamcha, Piccolo; and the Saiyans of New Vegeta City. Chi-Chi wore a white wedding dress, looking as beautiful as an angel. Son Goku wore a black suit, his hair uncharacteristically combed neatly, looking quite presentable. "Goku, you look so handsome today!" Chi-Chi held Son Goku's arm, her face flushed. "Chi-Chi, you look beautiful today too!" Son Goku said. "But you look beautiful every day." Chi-Chi's eyes turned red. Kashu served as the officiant. He stood in the castle garden, facing the newlyweds, and recited the vows according to Earth's wedding rituals. "Son Goku, are you willing to take Chi-Chi as your wife, to love her, respect her, and protect her, whether in poverty or wealth, sickness or health, until the end of time?" "I do!" Son Goku said loudly. "Chi-Chi, are you willing to take Son Goku as your husband, to love him, respect him, and support him, whether in poverty or wealth, sickness or health, until the end of time?" "I do!" Chi-Chi's voice was tearful. Exchange rings. Bulma handed over two rings—a special edition from Capsule Corp, incredibly durable, with built-in positioning and communication functions. Son Goku clumsily put the ring on Chi-Chi, and Chi-Chi gently put the ring on Son Goku. "I now pronounce you husband and wife," Kashu said. "The groom may kiss the bride." Son Goku paused for a moment, then leaned in and lightly touched Chi-Chi's lips. "Like this?" Chi-Chi was blushing furiously, but she smiled: "Yes, that's fine." Krillin led the applause, and the sound of clapping, cheering, and whistling filled the air. Master Roshi pushed up his sunglasses: "Little Goku is married, and I'm still single. Where is the justice in this world?" "Master, please stop complaining," Son Gohan said helplessly.
At the banquet, the Saiyans ate to their hearts' content. Bardock and Gine sat at the main table, watching their youngest son get married, their eyes full of relief. "Kakarot got married before us," Bardock said. "He's younger than Raditz and Kashu," Gine laughed. "Matters of the heart don't care about age."
Kashu's Wedding. A month later, Kashu's wedding was held in New Vegeta City. It was a special wedding—one groom, three brides. Launch wore a white wedding dress, gentle as water in her blue-haired mode. Bulma wore a pink wedding dress, her smile as bright as a flower. Tights wore a pale purple wedding dress, mature and elegant as an orchid.
Three brides, three types of beauty, left all the guests stunned. "Kashu, you lucky dog!" Krillin patted Kashu on the shoulder. "Three great beauties!" "Shut up," Kashu laughed. The wedding ceremony was presided over by Master Roshi. The old man was rarely serious, wearing formal attire, reading glasses, and holding the marriage certificate. "Launch, are you willing to marry Kashu and become his wife, to love him and support him, whether in good times or bad, until the end of time?" "I do." Launch's voice was soft but firm. "Bulma, are you willing?" "I do!" Bulma said loudly. "Tights, are you willing?" "I do." Tights smiled. "Kashu, are you willing to take these three ladies as your wives, to love them, respect them, and protect them, whether in poverty or wealth, sickness or health, until the end of time?" "I do," Kashu said. Master Roshi closed the marriage certificate: "I now pronounce you husband and wife." The three brides walked toward Kashu simultaneously and kissed him on the cheek. The whole place cheered. Krillin wiped away tears: "So moving..." Tien Shinhan also showed a rare smile: "Kashu, this guy, he really makes people envious." Piccolo stood with his arms crossed, expressionless, but the corners of his mouth turned up slightly. At the banquet, Kashu was forced to drink a lot. Saiyans have incredible tolerance, but he couldn't handle the constant bombardment. His face was flushed, but he remained clear-headed. "Kashu, you can't play favorites," Bulma leaned in. "Who are you spending the night with first?" "In order," Kashu said. "Launch first, you second, Tights third." "Why Launch first?" Bulma pouted. "Because she's pregnant." Bulma paused, then realized: "Oh right! She's pregnant! Then let her rest first, you spend it with me!" "No rush," Kashu smiled and flicked Bulma's nose. "There will be plenty of time in the future." Tights watched this scene from afar, a gentle smile on her lips. She knew she hadn't made the wrong choice.
