Background

Bulma is the eldest daughter of Capsule Corporation and the inventor of the Dragon Radar. Kashu seeks her out during the Dragon Ball hunt because she is the only known person able to build such a device. She agrees to join his group after negotiating protection and the first wish from the Dragon Balls. 6

After the journey, Bulma returns to West City but gives Kashu a communicator so he can contact her for future Dragon Ball searches. She later warns him that the revived Red Ribbon Army is rapidly gathering Dragon Balls, prompting the operation against the organization. 7
