Knowing he could not win against such twisted logic, Hisoka decided to change the subject. "I heard Chrollo say..."
He only spoke the beginning, but his eyes were full of implication.
"You're about to die?"
Though he felt that the godfather had been lying, it was still better to get some things cleared up.
Coleman was stunned by the blunt question. He stared at Hisoka for a long while.
Long enough for the cigar to burn down completely.
"Ah, more or less." Coleman casually tossed away the cigar butt and ground it beneath his foot.
It actually was not that bad—not nearly as terrifying as Chrollo had made it sound.
His eyes narrowed slightly as he ran through the list in his head.

"Fine. Does Illumi know?" Seeing how calm Coleman was, Hisoka felt there was no need to worry.
If Coleman could live, he would find a way himself.
If there was no way, then there simply was no way.
He was just more concerned about Illumi's mental state.
