Heavens above, I've finally finished writing this essay. I'm so happy, I'm crying my eyes out.
This has been written for over a year now, hasn't it?
Who would have thought that I wrote this in the early hours of the morning when my brain was malfunctioning!
Then I started paying off my debts for a year.
First of all, thank you to every reader who has made it this far. I'm so touched. Who would have thought that an author who slacks off and doesn't update for so long would still have readers?
That's amazing!
Secondly, I sincerely apologize here. Ah, I really haven't updated for a very, very long time.
First, I'm really busy in real life (excuse); second, I'm genuinely lazy (correct answer); and third, there's really nothing worth writing about in this piece.
Believe it or not, it's a story entirely dedicated to the protagonist. There are no main plots, subplots, or any other storylines; it's extremely unreliable.
The author didn't have an outline; they just wrote whatever came to mind, you know? That's me.
Since it was just a casual essay, you know what I mean, I just wrote it casually. Who would have thought it would turn into 400,000 words! I haven't written as much as I have in my serious writing!
My initial intention was the same as before: I wanted to write about a madman. I think it's passable, barely readable.
I should mention Coleman's initial character design here. Do you think it's like this? That's what I think, just my opinion.
A man who kills without hesitation, takes pleasure in toying with others, and calls himself a gentleman but is actually extremely vile.
He was passionate about art, but he didn't really understand it; he simply called his actions art.
He claims to be a gentleman, but in reality, he uses the name of a gentleman to swindle and deceive, and he enjoys watching the expressions on people's faces when they find out his true colors.
A person without principles or goals, whose greatest interest is finding amusement in chaos. He loves wandering in chaos, and if there is no chaos, he will create it.
They label others as God to create a contrast, hoping to find expressions of fear and disbelief in others.
My assessment of him is that he is a heartless, emotionless, unprincipled, immoral, and bottomless killer.
It's like a well-carved shell, shiny and beautiful on the surface, but empty inside. You can't find any inner meaning or faith, but you can find a filthy and bloody mind.
Simply put, he's a serial killer, and a serial killer who's mentally ill.
Some might say, "Is it appropriate for you to criticize your own protagonist like that?"
Oh, honey, this is so cool, okay? Isn't that why you kept watching? (winking emoji)
I want to write about a madman, a serial killer.
I've created a madman, so I've succeeded. Therefore, I don't see anything wrong with writing this kind of thing. After all, only people with serious mental illnesses can write this kind of thing, and only they would specifically seek it out to read, right? (Manual doge emoji)
Well, everything that needed to be explained has been explained. In short, this story is finished. Hooray!
By the way, if you feel, "That's not how I read it, Coleman isn't like that," or if you feel that it deviates from the character I described, don't doubt yourself. It must be because I, a novice and lazy author, messed it up. My fault, my fault.
Also, the author probably won't be updating any stories in the near future (June-December, or even April next year). This means the story won't be filled in, nor will it be a new story; the author is preparing for graduate school entrance exams.
If I hadn't felt this post had been dragging on for so long, I would have stopped writing it a long time ago. A graduate school applicant's soul is set on the graduate school entrance exam; how can you be half-hearted? You won't pass the exam that way! (sounding) With your half-hearted attitude, does your major still love you?
How did you get high scores on your major exams? How did you get into graduate school?
So I'm going to be looking for my true love (and preparing for exams) for the next six months, so there won't be any new updates.
But the others will be finished later. I've already started writing them, so I have to finish them.
And I'll most likely write during my exam preparation period, but I won't publish it. I'll just enjoy it myself.
Okay, that's all for now. Lastly, thank you to all the readers, and I wish you all find your favorite books, or at least some good ones.
See you later, bye-bye~~~
Oh, right, just one more thing, that Kong guy, you know, he's the one I was thinking of starting a project for him, probably a male-oriented Western fantasy, a magical world kind of thing, and then I won't write any side stories for him. That's it, bye!
If there are typos in this book, let's just leave it as it is. I don't dare to change the beginning for fear of being banned, and I don't want to change the end because I'm lazy. Tsk, I'm such a bad person, an irresponsible writer. But I believe you'll get used to it. If you're not, let's try to get used to it. Thank you (starts to speak).
