Li Yi walked down the residential complex path, clutching a large ring of keys. It was rent collection day, and Li Yi noted that another pile of pocket change was about to roll in.

Of course, not everyone paid up. There were always one or two girls who were broke but loved living rent-free. Li Yi actually hoped for more girls like that; after all, he, Li Yi, had no interest in money. The houses he owned were worth several "small targets" each. Plus, he was face-blind, so there wasn't much that interested him.

Just as Li Yi was humming a tune, preparing to discuss rent with one of the girls, a young man with bloodshot eyes rushed out from the side. He stabbed Li Yi in the kidneys several times, cursing something under his breath. Naturally, Li Yi couldn't hear it, because he had already been offed.

He only vaguely heard something about sleeping with someone's girlfriend...

Li Yi didn't linger on these wondrous sights, continuing forward as he watched the parade of images.

"One Piece!" Li Yi exclaimed. What man didn't have a dream of the second dimension? Who hadn't once dreamed of being the man who would become the Pirate King?

Just then, the scene shifted to a white-bearded old man holding a fruit that looked like a dragon fruit. He held it up, seemingly about to take a bite.

Li Yi didn't know why, but he suddenly reached out. The fruit was pulled out by Li Yi, and the man in the scene froze, looking completely bewildered—his Mera Mera no Mi was gone.

Li Yi was also stunned. He could actually take things from the images? Suddenly, Li Yi clutched his chest. He felt like he'd missed out on a billion dollars; there had been a cultivation world earlier, and he hadn't thought to grab anything from it!

Soon, that scene flashed away. When Li Yi looked up again, he saw an old man leaning on a cane, looking down on the world with disdain. In front of him, people wearing captain's haoris were lined up. The old man seemed to be holding a meeting.

"Bleach?" Li Yi's eyes lit up. It was actually the world of Bleach! Could he go to the world of Bleach? This was also a world Li Yi yearned for.

At that moment in the scene, the old man snorted and struck the ground heavily with his cane. The cane instantly transformed into a katana. The old man rested the blade on the ground, hands behind his back, seemingly saying something.

Li Yi blinked, his hand reaching out instinctively, and he yanked the sword right out.

The captains, who were in the middle of being scolded, widened their eyes. A hand had suddenly reached out from the void and snatched the Head Captain's Ryujin Jakka.

Li Yi stared blankly at the Ryujin Jakka in his hand. Had he really just taken it like that?

Just as he was about to see the reaction in the Bleach world, the tunnel began to shake violently, and he was flung out.

The moment he was thrown, Li Yi gripped the Mera Mera no Mi and Ryujin Jakka tightly. After a dizzying spin, Li Yi opened his eyes to find himself in a dense jungle.

The surrounding trees were tall and massive. Li Yi didn't know where he was, but he looked down and saw the Mera Mera no Mi and Ryujin Jakka in his hands.

He breathed a sigh of relief. With these two items, he had some capital to survive no matter what world he was in.

Suddenly, Li Yi froze. He saw his hands—they seemed a size smaller. His heart skipped a beat, and he hurriedly examined himself. He appeared to be in the body of a child.

"What the hell? Possession?" Li Yi exclaimed. As for who the unlucky soul he had possessed was, Li Yi had absolutely no memory.

"Forget it, eat the fruit first!" Without a second thought, Li Yi bit into the Mera Mera no Mi.

Immediately, a sensation like eating literal excrement rushed to his brain, nearly making him vomit his dinner from the night before. He knew Devil Fruits tasted bad, but he hadn't expected it to be this foul.

Forcing down the nausea, Li Yi ate the entire fruit. Although he'd heard one bite was enough, he followed the principle that his life was paramount and finished the whole thing.

Li Yi's face had already turned green; no one would look good after eating a giant pile of filth.

He leaned against a tree to rest for a moment. Feeling slightly less miserable, he clenched his fist, and a small flame flickered out. Li Yi was stunned. What the hell? When others ate a Devil Fruit, even if they didn't turn into an element, they at least got more than a tiny spark.

What was this supposed to do? Light someone's cigarette?

"BOOM!" Just then, a muffled sound erupted in the distance, and a powerful shockwave blew Li Yi flat on his face.

Li Yi scrambled up to look. In the distance, a cloud of smoke was rising; it looked like the explosion had been quite powerful.

"What the hell kind of place is this?" Li Yi cursed, scrambling away as fast as he could. This place was too dangerous; the mere shockwave of something inexplicable had sent him flying.

However, before Li Yi had run two steps, someone tucked him under their arm. The man then began to dash across the trees as if walking on flat ground. Li Yi was dumbfounded; this running style looked familiar.

He looked up, and—holy crap—this white-haired guy was even more familiar. He had long white hair, three red lines on his chin and eyes, and a forehead protector with a spiral symbol. It was a Konoha headband.

The identity of this person was self-evident: the Second Hokage of Konoha, Senju Tobirama.

Suddenly, Li Yi felt something warm and wet on his face. He looked up and his eyes widened; a bloody hole had appeared in Senju Tobirama's chest, and blood was splattering onto Li Yi's face.
