Darkseid was dead?

Everyone who received the news was stunned, especially the countless residents of Apocalypse. They had watched with their own eyes as Darkseid, who had ruled them for countless years, died at the hands of his son.

Their minds were blank.

With Kalibak taking the lead in submitting, more and more residents of Apocalypse accepted reality and showed reverence and obedience toward their new master. These unruly villains knelt before Dark Superman one after another.

There was nothing shameful about it. Dark Superman had accomplished what they had only dreamed of doing: he had killed Darkseid before their very eyes and nearly devoured all of his Source.

What was more, Dark Superman was Darkseid's son, the legally indisputable heir.

The entirety of Apocalypse bowed its proud spine beneath the shadow in the sky, calmly accepting its new leader.

Boom!

A black figure crashed down before Kalibak, and the terrifying pressure forcibly crushed a vast stretch of ground into a depression.

A pair of feet clad in black combat boots appeared in Kalibak's deeply lowered field of vision.

Cold sweat trickled down Kalibak's face. He felt as though even his godhead had stopped functioning, while the Source within it showed signs of disorder.

Not even Darkseid had ever given him such a feeling. Clearly, the current Dark Superman had yet to perfectly control his explosively enhanced life essence and the terrifying strength that came with it.

In truth, he had no need to pursue perfection. He was already far too powerful, having achieved a feat no one had managed in billions of years.

"My brother, tell me, how should I deal with you?" Dark Superman raised his head. His eyes, glowing with dreadful red light, looked slightly downward as he stared coldly at Kalibak.

Kalibak was drenched in sweat.
