Central City's night was destined to be anything but peaceful.
Harrison wheeled himself onto the rooftop, an eerie smile on his lips as he looked down at the glittering nightlife beneath the dark sky.
To someone from the twenty-fifth century like him, this damned era was nothing but a technological wasteland. The terrible environment, coupled with humanity's backward values, was simply a nightmare for someone as proud as he was.
Dr. Harrison—oh, no. He had cast aside that disguise and reclaimed his true name: Thawne.
Reverse-Flash Thawne slowly rose from his wheelchair. He gently removed the glasses he usually guarded so carefully and casually tossed them aside.
The glasses were Dr. Harrison's symbol, not Thawne's.
Only that yellow suit, so similar to the Flash's costume, was Thawne's true symbol.
Subconsciously, Thawne touched his face. This face, along with the altered DNA inside his body, did not belong to him. It belonged to the real Dr. Harrison.
Back then, he had traveled from the twenty-fifth century, intending to kill the five-year-old Barry. But the Flash, who had come from the future, stopped him. The two fought fiercely in the room, and in the end, Reverse-Flash only managed to kill Barry's mother.
Worse still, that completely unplanned battle drained what little Speed Force Reverse-Flash had left. He no longer had the ability to return to the twenty-fifth century. He was not a speedster and could not generate Speed Force himself; he could only steal it.
Then, Reverse-Flash engineered a car accident and used a device to drain Dr. Harrison into a desiccated corpse. All of Harrison's life factors were transferred onto Reverse-Flash, successfully turning Thawne into Harrison.
Then came the massive explosion at the Particle Accelerator Laboratory. The young Barry was struck by lightning, fell into a coma for nine months, then
