The entire academy had gathered together, staring in delighted surprise at the enormous pool before them. Vast power churned within it, and every drop of X Energy seemed to contain a universe still swaddled in its cradle.

"This is X Energy, the raw material and original power source for countless divine artifacts."

Scorponok excitedly waved the Hammer of Scorponok, his two metal eyes wide as he gazed fervently at the pool ahead.

"Not only can we use this miraculous power to forge divine artifacts, we can even study its essence to improve our bodies."

Wheeljack lowered his head and scribbled across an electronic screen before looking up and speaking.

The Transformers present were all somewhat excited. Their blazing gazes, hot enough to set the air aflame, turned toward the X Energy. This was an enormous treasure.

Also known as X Metal, X Energy could be used to forge unparalleled divine artifacts. But for these Transformers, it was also the most precious material of all. It could be used to construct new bodies and even point the way toward the next stage of evolution for some Transformers who focused on upgrading their frames.

Megatron, for example, was someone who had crazily developed his body to its absolute limit.

Without a powerful body capable of stabilizing himself, without a steel frame possessing terrifying potential, Megatron could never have steadily wielded the Infinity Stones through his own body alone.

"I request a small amount of X Energy to study the possibility of bodily evolution."

At some point, Megatron had arrived before the pool. He lowered his head slightly, his scarlet electronic eyes fixed firmly on the slowly writhing miraculous substance.

He could sense that these things contained extraordinarily terrifying power. They were a source of evolution that could explosively propel his own growth.
