If Genesis Light had not charged fiercely out of the void beyond the wall and lunged at the Blackest Night Emperor within the dark chaos, the seven Lantern Beasts—such as Ion Shark, Parallax, and Blood Butcher Bull—would have been no different from other dark conceptual beings. They would have died one after another in the war between black and white.
Genesis Light had split off part of its power to redeem those seven dark creatures, igniting their intelligence, granting them authority after their rebirth, and making them representatives of specific bands of the Emotional Spectrum.
