A cold glint flashed through Sack's eyes.
It went without saying.
This was Namek's Grand Elder.
Releasing his hands and lowering his head slightly, Sack murmured to himself.
"Foresight? Interesting.
"Do you know about my affairs, then?"
Standing by the porthole, he looked down over hundreds of islands large and small, while even more of the planet's other side was completely out of sight.
Most of the land, as well as a few isolated hills, was covered in dense, strange trees.
As they drew closer, Sack could vaguely make out some low, snail-shaped houses.
"Villages?"
Sack murmured, and the spaceship landed smoothly on the ground.
Creak—
Sack opened the door and motioned for Renar to leave with him.
"We don't need to protect the spaceship?"
Renar asked in confusion.
Sack smiled and shook his head.
Namekians were a pure race. He was not worried about that.
Moreover, Namek also possessed highly advanced technology.
The moment they stepped out, Renar muttered, "Why is the sky green?"
"Let's go. Special planets like this are just that way."
"Sack, what's special about this planet? It's so remote."
Sack stopped, his tone turning slightly serious.
"Renar, you need to have eyes that are good at discovery.
"Every life-bearing planet has something special about it. It only depends on whether we can discover it.
"You must also keep an empty-cup mindset and continue learning and improving.
"Any civilization capable of developing in the environment of the universe has something worth studying and understanding."
Renar pouted, but her face carried a smile as sweet as candied fruit.
How long had it been?
Ever since she had surpassed Sack, she had never again heard guidance from his mouth.
On that mission planet, she had mostly acted according to Sack's orders as well.
Now, her master Sack had returned.
Not only had he returned, but his strength had once again surpassed hers.
She liked this feeling very much.
"I knowww~~"
She dragged out the last word with a long trailing note.
Sack's mind trembled. A young girl's coquettish hum always stirred the imagination.
Helpless, Sack could only fly in the direction of the vague presence he sensed.
Before long, a whistling sound cut through the air, and a swift figure flew toward the two of them.
That figure stopped high above them, looking down at them from above.
Green skin, dressed in a white martial arts uniform, with two antennae on his forehead and pointed ears—it was indeed a Namekian.
Despite how young he was, Sack recognized at a glance that this fellow was Neil.
"Come with me."
A trace of disgust flashed through Neil's eyes as he spoke in an exceptionally cold voice.
Anger rose on Renar's pretty face, and she was just about to flare her aura and charge up.
Quick-eyed and quick-handed, Sack grabbed her and signaled for her not to act rashly.
He had come here to handle important matters.
How could he afford to offend people?
"Very well."
Neil turned and flew away, leaving behind a cold snort that seemed to say, At least you know your place.
"Hmph!"
Renar was absolutely furious, her cheeks puffed out in anger.
"Sack, why? I could wipe out every last person on this trash planet by myself."
Under Sack's cold, sharp stare, Renar could only shut her mouth unwillingly.
He sighed inwardly.
A Saiyan's brutal nature was carved into their bones from birth.
This little girl Renar was no exception.
He raised his energy and followed.
Ahead, Neil's ears twitched, the disgust in his eyes showing without the slightest concealment.
Fortunately, Sack could not see it. Otherwise, he might have erupted and attacked as well.
As a Saiyan combatant himself, if not for the control of his original consciousness, he might not have been much better than Renar.
They skimmed over oceans, flew past mountains, and crossed plains.
The three of them arrived unimpeded at a mountaintop.
On the summit, a building in the same style stood quietly.
"Go in."
Neil entered through the front door first, leaving behind another cold sentence.
Sack followed indifferently.
This time, he would need to ask quite a few things of the Namekians.
"Young ones, you have come."
Sack had just entered the house and had not yet reached the center when the voice he had heard in space rang beside his ear.
"Grand Elder of Namek, greetings."
Sack spoke respectfully, and Neil's cold expression at the side softened considerably.
But when he saw Renar standing there proudly and rudely, his emerald face turned dark green.
"You have come for the seven Dragon Balls, haven't you?"
As soon as the Grand Elder's voice fell, Renar let out a surprised sound. "Huh? How did you know?"
Sack remained calm and composed.
"I want to find the seven Dragon Balls and make two wishes. I hope the Grand Elder will permit it."
"How dare you!" Neil suddenly roared, furious flames blazing in his eyes.
Sack's request was like gunpowder, igniting the anger in Neil's heart.
He had already been dissatisfied with the wicked Saiyans entering Namek, and now they had actually made such an excessive demand.
The seven Dragon Balls created by their Grand Elder had not even been used by the Namekians themselves.
Yet these evil Saiyans before them had opened their mouths with such a rude request.
"Enough, Neil. These two are both kind friends. There is no need for this."
Sack took a deep look at the Grand Elder.
This old fellow was not simple either. He had used words to corner him.
He did not believe that the kindhearted Namekians could not see the violent, murderous aura all over him and Renar.
Using such words to pressure him—this favor would probably not be easy to repay.
If it were another Saiyan, they might not have fallen for this, but he, Sack, could not refuse.
"Does that mean the Grand Elder agrees?"
The Grand Elder nodded with a smile.
There were still nearly thirty years before Namek's crisis. At this time, the Grand Elder was still full of spirit and did not look weak at all.
"But I have an presumptuous request."
Sack really wanted to say, Since it's an presumptuous request, then don't make it.
But when the words reached his lips, they changed into, "Please speak."
Someone had just given you an enormous benefit, and then you turned around and refused them.
Who would not feel uncomfortable in that position?
This old fellow had probably also taken a fancy to that point, holding him firmly in his grasp.
Renar could only glare from the side as she listened, anger constantly rising in her heart.
Things had not been this stifling on Yardrat.
She did not need Sack. She alone could wipe out the entire Namek, so why be so polite?
"Thirty years from now, protect Namek. Can you do that?"
Before Sack could speak, Neil stepped forward and retorted loudly.
"Grand Elder, I can protect our planet. We don't need these evil people."
Renar gave a disdainful little snort.
Neil's battle power at this time was not especially high.
Renar figured she could beat Neil.
This time, Sack did not stop Renar.
If you were always easy to talk to and kept yielding, others would think you were easy to bully.
Reason only counted as reason when it had an edge to it.
"You're not convinced?" Neil glanced sidelong at Renar and said contemptuously.
The mockery was turned all the way up, and the atmosphere in the great hall grew intense.
Renar said nothing. Her erupting aura told Neil the answer through action.
A vast ki filled Renar's body. Wind and waves appeared out of nowhere, and crushing pressure swept toward Neil from every direction.
Neil's expression changed. In a flash, he moved to stand in front of the Grand Elder, his whole body blocking the way, towering and unmoving like a boulder.
He took all of Renar's pressure head-on.
A trace of wariness appeared in Renar's eyes. She knew this one was tough; before her training, she definitely would not have been his match.
But now...
Just as she was about to keep raising the intensity of her ki, a loud shout rang out.
