Nos, as Sack called him, also belonged to the Saiyan 37th Combat Squad.
Before Sack boarded the spaceship, Nos had given him a punch.
Maybe it was to keep things hidden, or maybe it was to avoid killing Sack and arousing suspicion.
That punch from Nos just had to land right on Sack's kidney.
Who would have thought the real Sack couldn't withstand it and died on the spot?
Otherwise, he would never have been able to come here and take Sack's place.
But no matter what, getting his kidney nailed was a fact.
He was the one who had suffered.
If he didn't get revenge, he would hardly be human.
As for gratitude, he naturally did not have the slightest thought of feeling grateful.
As for the Frieza crisis, he would take it one step at a time.
Vegeta had only just been born. There were still five years left.
He would work hard and raise his power level above three million first, then see if he could turn into a Super Saiyan.
If he couldn't, then no one could blame him for playing it safe.
Could the Saiyans' future compare to his own future?
Sack's guiding life motto was: when the wind was at his back, he swaggered like a dog; when the wind was against him, he cowered like a dog.
The final right of interpretation for that dog lay in his hands. However he wanted to play it was fine!
Sack reached up, took off the scouter, and tossed it toward the burning spherical spaceship.
Only after watching it melt amid brilliant sparks did he fly away at high speed.
The scouters issued by Frieza had the function of detecting power levels, but they also had monitoring, eavesdropping, and tracking functions.
There was no way he could keep using it.
He could only rely on himself to figure out the skill of sensing ki.
Perhaps it would have been impossible before, but now that he possessed a divine art, nothing was a problem.
"I need to hide as quickly as possible."
Sack was anxious, and his speed increased out of nowhere by thirty percent.
Fortunately, the God Elephant Prison-Suppressing Force was reliable. He could now freely control the ki inside his body.
Hiding his strength was not a problem.
Sack only planned to hide. He had no intention of showing himself.
Nor did he intend to make a move and kill Nos.
His strength still wasn't enough. If a scouter discovered anything abnormal...
Forget Frieza—even if Vegeta the Tenth dispatched a few combat squads, he would be in serious trouble.
"My current power level is around 3,500. One giant elephant provides 30 battle power. That's already very nice."
In the early stages of cultivating the God Elephant Prison-Suppressing Force, one followed the concept that "the human body is composed of eight hundred and forty million particles."
By opening up the power of giant elephants within the particles of the human body, before long, a keratin membrane would appear on the skin, capable of absorbing most qigong power and turning it to one's own use.
If he condensed eight hundred and forty million giant elephants, he would have 25.2 billion battle power.
Then, after transforming into a Super Saiyan, his battle power would directly exceed one trillion.
Who could stand against him?
The next function was even more badass.
Explaining it was complicated, but in short: whoever hit him, he would eat.
The attack you sent at him? He absorbed it, turned it into his battle power, and used it to help his cultivation.
Surprised?
Unexpected?
Happy?
And that was only the most basic part. Later on, if he could cultivate an even more profound method and condense the Hell Furnace inside his body...
All things in heaven and earth would become nourishment for him, supplying his cultivation.
Wasn't that blood-pumping?
Sack found a deep stretch of sea and sank straight into it.
After cultivating the God Elephant Prison-Suppressing Force, he had 111 giant elephants inside his body.
Going without food through circulating qi might be a little difficult, but holding his breath for seven or eight days was nothing.
That was what Sack thought, and that was what he prepared to do.
He swore, He truly did not want to provoke anyone.
Saiyan 37th Combat Squad.
Four spherical spaceships screamed down and smashed into the ground.
Four huge craters appeared among the mountains.
Dust billowed everywhere as four cold figures, each surrounded by a transparent shield, slowly rose from the craters.
The leader, a rough-looking man who stood six foot three and radiated a bloody aura, spoke with an ugly expression.
"Hm? Why is Sack missing?"
One of them, a handsome yet strangely alluring man with a scar on his neck and a thick tail, showed delight in his eyes and spoke without even thinking.
"Captain, Sack deserted in the face of battle."
The only woman present, her face filled with worry, snapped angrily, "Nos, Sack is no coward. Stop spouting nonsense and slandering him."
Then she turned to the rough-looking man before her, the one who stood six foot three.
"Captain, Sack must have run into an accident. Let's look for him."
"We can't. Our mission is tight. If we waste time, the mission fails.
Our squad has never failed."
Another Saiyan, short in stature and tense all over as he watched their surroundings, spoke up.
"Exactly. Renar, don't tell me you don't know our squad has never failed.
We can't let ourselves be delayed over a piece of trash."
The female Saiyan named Renar trembled with rage, her face flushing red.
"You—don't forget, Sack has saved your lives more than once. Most of the scars on his body came from protecting his teammates."
"Hmph. That's because that piece of trash always stayed in the safest position."
"You." Renar panicked, reaching out to point at Nos.
The captain shouted sharply, cutting off their argument.
"Enough. Nos, Bardan is right. The mission is what matters.
As for Sack, leave it to fate."
The captain's voice was cold, and the words he spoke chilled them to the bone.
This was what Saiyans were.
Cold, cruel, heartless.
Not only toward outsiders, but toward their own as well.
"Now, we need to divide our attack targets again."
Nos was in an excellent mood.
"Haha, Captain, there's no need to make it so troublesome.
To keep anyone from saying I'm cold-blooded, I'll take half of that trash Sack's territory too. How's that?"
The captain thought for a moment. "Then Nos and Bardan, you each take half. Once Renar and I finish, we'll come over to help you."
Nos chuckled and said nothing more.
Inwardly, however, he did not take it seriously.
How could they possibly fail on such a tiny planet?
"I'm off."
Nos whistled through the air and shot away.
Renar had no choice but to suppress the anxiety in her heart and hurry toward the target area assigned to her.
Sack was cultivating when a massive aura came over.
Nos flew high in the sky, staring at the numbers on the lens over his left eye.
"Fifty kilometers. Battle power: 620.
This might be the strongest being on this planet. My luck's pretty good. I can have some real fun."
A wicked glint flashed through his eyes, and his figure sped up another notch.
As he neared his destination, Nos raised his hand and sent an energy blast plunging into the sea.
With a cold smile on his lips, Nos shouted.
"Get the hell out here!"
Sack had thought it had nothing to do with him, only to realize now that he had been indulging in wishful thinking.
"Sigh. There still hasn't been enough time. I still don't know how to completely restrain my ki."
Muttering under his breath, he moved like a swallow and quickly shot out of the sea.
"It's you!"
Two stunned voices rang out at the same time.
Saiyans did not know any kind of ki sensing, nor could they distinguish people through the subtle differences between ki.
As a thief, Sack naturally could not either.
The moment he came out, the resentment in his mind surged up like a roaring river.
In an instant, he knew who the person before him was.
If this was not Nos, the one he had been obsessing over letting off, then who else could it be?
Sack was surprised, and Nos was not much better off.
After the shock passed, he looked at Sack's battle-power data on the scouter, and a vicious grin surfaced on his face.
"Heh heh, brat, you actually didn't die.
But your luck's run out. Now that you've run into me, even if you don't die, you're finished."
Sack stared at Nos, his eyes shifting uncertainly.
He had not intended to make a move.
Hate was hate, but compared to his own little life, even having a kidney carved out was not something he could not accept.
But this guy just had to come crashing into him.
If he did not take this, he would be letting down all of Nos's painstaking effort.
Nos saw all of Sack's hesitation and conflicted thoughts.
Thinking Sack was afraid, he erupted with aura and pounced over ferociously.
"Brat, for the sake of Renar's and my happiness, you'd better go die."
