After lunch, Wizet carried the dishes into the kitchen and set them in the sink.
He had cast a spell earlier to keep the water in the house warm, so he did not use any more magic. Instead, like Luna, he rolled up his sleeves and began washing the dishes by hand.
Washing dishes always produced bubbles. As the water in the sink churned, a large bubble wobbled its way into the air.
After clearing the table, Luna came into the kitchen with a dishcloth. Seeing the bubble refracting rainbow light, she gently poked it with a finger.

Luna said thoughtfully, "It's going to turn into a bubble snot slug!"
Wizet laughed at Luna's expression. With a gentle swirl of his hands, several more large bubbles floated up.
Luna's eyes lit up. She stretched out her finger again and chased after the bubbles, popping them one after another with her fingertip.
"Maybe they're a wizard's treasure?" Wizet swirled his hands again, sending several more large bubbles floating up.

"Besides protecting the treasures with their songs, the Sirens would create large bubbles to shield them. Do you know why?"

Wizet stirred the water in the sink again, and several more bubbles drifted up. "Because through those bubbles, they could tell whether the Viking wizards still wanted those treasures..."
Listening to the story, Luna lightly tapped each large bubble that floated toward her, having a wonderful time.
