"Wizet! Luna!" Dobby cried, about to shove the bag into Wizet's hands.
Wizet raised a hand and stopped Dobby from pushing the bag toward him.
"Wizet, please take this! Dobby wants to give this to you!" Dobby said, his voice growing even higher-pitched with excitement and nervousness.
Luna crouched down as well, meeting Dobby's eyes. "Dobby, what's inside...?"
Before Luna could finish her question, Dobby shook the bag and hurriedly explained, "Luna, it's all of Dobby's wages!"
"Wizet, Luna, and Mr. Lovegood all buy things for Dobby. Dobby lacks nothing in everyday life! So Dobby saved all his wages!"
"Dobby and Wizet, Luna, and Mr. Lovegood are family now! This is what family does! Whatever the family needs, it can take from here!"
Wizet and Luna exchanged a glance, then turned back to Dobby. "Dobby, how did you come up with this idea? Who told you that?"
Dobby proudly puffed out his chest. "Some of it Dobby asked Mrs. Weasley about, and some of it Dobby figured out himself!"
"Since Dobby and Wizet, Luna, and Mr. Lovegood are family now, Dobby should hand over his money!"
"Just like Arthur Weasley gives his wages to Mrs. Weasley." He shook the bag again. "Whatever the family needs, it can take from here!"
Hearing Dobby say this, both Wizet and Luna could not help but laugh.
Dobby's logic was simple—so simple that it was rather clumsy and adorable.
In Dobby's eyes, becoming "family" meant doing as the Weasleys did, bringing out what they had and sharing it together.
