The impatience in Voldemort's voice became more obvious. He lightly tapped his wand against his palm. "Herpo, what exactly are you trying to say?"
"Then let me put it another way..." Herpo forced himself to perk up. "A spell like the Disarming Charm—what kind of threat do you think it poses to Muggles?"
"Nothing more than their guns..." A flicker of disdain passed through Voldemort's eyes. "It simply can't threaten wizards."
"Muggles have always been so weak. Their bodies are frail and feeble. The only thing capable of effectively harming wizards is those guns."
Herpo nodded obediently. "Yes, they are the only weapons Muggles can rely on."
He knew perfectly well that, given his current condition, it was best to go along with Voldemort rather than offer any rebuttal.
Should Voldemort be displeased in the slightest, he would likely be subjected to the torment of the Cruciatus Curse again.
"And precisely because guns are what they rely on..." Herpo changed tack. "Those Muggles will surely place great importance on the Disarming Charm."
