The veins covering Calchas's face receded, and his appearance had changed drastically. Both his wrinkles and white hair had increased considerably, as though he had aged from a young man into middle age.
Noticing that Calchas was no longer using the Eye of Heaven, Herpo asked in some surprise, "That's it?"

"They never said who that so-called 'friend from afar' was. I can't determine who sent the Christmas gift either. At most, they referred to the gift-giver as 'that person.'"
"They must have been plotting something!" Voldemort drew his own conclusion, his tone dripping with contempt. "I know Dumbledore too well! He loves pulling little tricks that can't see the light of day!"
"Who this so-called 'that person' is doesn't matter! At most, they're a coward hiding in the shadows, someone who doesn't even want their name mentioned!"
Herpo pursed his lips and furrowed his brow, doing his best to look deep in thought rather than as though he had thought of something amusing.
