As the crystalline shield clashed with the crimson meteor, it continuously absorbed the magic spreading outward, replenishing itself and making up for its losses as it steadily wore down the crimson meteor's magic.
Clearly, Dumbledore had found a way to respond, one that allowed him to counter Voldemort's magic more efficiently.
This could only mean one thing: Dumbledore's exploration of the "path of magic" seemed to have gone farther than his own.
The thought sent an uncontrollable fury surging up from the depths of Voldemort's soul.

If Dumbledore had not used deceptive words from the very beginning to beguile away the students who should have belonged to him, then he should have been the one to travel farther down the "path of magic"!
"Avada Kedavra!" Unable to swallow this resentment, Voldemort raised his hand and cast the Killing Curse at Dumbledore.
Dumbledore dealt with Voldemort's Killing Curse far more easily.
He gracefully twisted aside to evade it, his tone carrying a hint of teasing. "Tom, are you thinking... that the progress I've made should have been yours?"
Voldemort's eyes flew wide open. The fury he had barely restrained now threatened to erupt completely.
Yet in the next second, his expression returned to normal.
He suddenly understood. Dumbledore had said that only to provoke him.
Realizing this, a sneer curled across his lips. "Dumbledore, what a laughable and despicable trick!"
"You actually thought you could use Wizet to provoke me? You truly are as hypocritical as ever! You would even exploit the dead!"
"You're the most despicable coward!" Quirrell's furious voice rang out as he roared at Voldemort. "You've been using Wizet ever since you came here! What right do you have to mention
