He had never expected the World Government to have hidden such an ancient island whose technology far surpassed the present age.
Remembering the Ohara books he had seen in Elbaf, he knew that this island's advanced technology had likely come from that legendary Great Kingdom.
Seeing the enormous robot on the island, Vegapunk immediately began researching the energy source that powered such a giant machine.
He had spent years searching for this kind of energy, hoping to benefit humanity. At the same time, he wanted to transform his hometown of Baldimore from a freezing Winter Island into a warm Spring Island and comprehensively improve the living conditions of its people.

The CP0 agent in a white suit and mask continued in an icy tone.

Vegapunk glared angrily at the CP0 agent, wishing he could drive away these irritating agents. Yet Egghead Island was filled with CP1 to CP9 spy agents, and Surveillance Den Den Mushi had been installed on many buildings.
"One more thing. Lord Saturn asks whether you still have a genetic sample from Experiment Subject 88, and whether you can clone him."
The CP0 agent continued, ignoring the displeasure on Vegapunk's face.
"We'll talk after all the laboratories are fully built. Get out, get out, get out! Stop interfering with my research!
"For now, go to Impel Down and bring back some Zoan Devil Fruit User prisoners!"
Vegapunk walked straight past the CP Agent, grumbling as he returned to studying the massive robot.
He was in a terrible mood. After Experiment Subject 88 ate the Artificial Azure Dragon Fruit, the World Government had indeed begun demanding that he continuously produce Artificial Devil Fruits.
This would waste a great deal of his time and leave him unable to conduct other research.

Little Bonney anxiously shouted from inside the wooden crate. Like a little monkey, she crawled all over the box, trying to find a crack through which she could sneak a peek.
"Bonney, Daddy will be back soon.
"Captain Leo, I'll leave Bonney and Princess Mansherry in your protection!"
Kuma spoke gently to Bonney, Leo, and the others. Then he removed his glasses and gloves, instantly vanishing from the sailing ship and flying toward Egghead Island.
"Daddy, hurry up and beat the bad guys, then come back for us!"
Bonney shouted from inside the box, her voice full of excitement. She wished she could fight alongside Kuma.
"I will protect Princess Mansherry and Princess Bonney!"
Holding a long needle, Leo spoke with a serious expression. He climbed up the mast and began keeping watch for other ships.

Huanglong charged toward Egghead Island with a savage expression. Once his enormous figure appeared, the island's sentry agents cried out in terror.
"It's a dragon! A dragon is attacking!!"
Alarms quickly rang throughout the island. Countless CP Agents nervously stared at the dragon, while some scientists and researchers had already recognized it.
"It's Subject 88! This is bad, he's here for revenge!"
"How did he know we were here? Why did he find us so quickly!"
"Hurry and call the World Government and Marines for reinforcements!"
"We need a Marine Admiral to protect us!"
The scientists immediately descended into chaos. In particular, the scientists who had abused Dongye Huanglong had terror in their eyes.
That vengeful dragon had truly come for them!
"I told you that you would regret it!"
A high-speed Laser Beam shot from Huanglong's right eye, instantly piercing a CP Agent who was using a Den Den Mushi and triggering a massive explosion.

"This is bad, Doctor! Subject 88 has come to kill us!"
Seeing Dongye Huanglong and Tyrant Kuma storm onto the island, Sentomaru hurriedly found Vegapunk and tried to drag him away at once.
"What? How did he find us!"
Panic appeared on Vegapunk's face as well. Dongye Huanglong was not as easy to negotiate with as Stussy. If Dongye Huanglong went on a killing spree, Vegapunk did not know whether he would survive.
