Hunting

In the boundless void of the universe, a vortex appeared out of nowhere, mingled with dark smoke. Along with it came a rumbling series of explosions.

The dark smoke suddenly stalled, then scattered outward, winding around the vortex like towering pillars of black light.

Then, amid crackling shrieks, a completely black throne slowly floated out of the vortex and fully entered the empty universe.

Seated upon the throne was a man dressed in a crimson bodysuit beneath a pure black trench coat.

"Come out. I've reinforced this area with rules. Even if we appear here, those irritating Angels won't notice us." Nero rested one hand against his forehead and casually spoke toward the vortex.

Boom, boom, boom...

Amid faint explosions, several figures slowly emerged from the vortex. If Kashius had been here, he would have recognized them immediately.

One of the figures emerging from the vortex was none other than Liu Ge, the Enforcer whom Kashius and Son Goku had once fused together to kill!

Not only that, Nicholas, who had fled in a sorry state, was among them as well. However, what drew attention was that there were two Nicholases this time—two people with exactly identical auras.

Following behind them were Salam, the dragonman who had once battled Kashius in hell; Zack, who had been killed; and Reno, Gine's former Attendant of God.

"I never expected my past self to be so passive as to think of such a stupid method." Nero slightly raised his head and looked at one of the two Nicholases standing beside him.

"Lord Nero, this happened entirely because Trunks from this timeline used a time machine to return to the past. If he hadn't gone back to warn Kashius, I would have erased Kashius years ago! How could things have ended up like this?"
