Kashius held his daughter in his arms and looked up at the crescent moon in the night sky, his eyes momentarily unfocused.

Although the Universal Martial Arts Tournament was fast approaching, there were still nearly eight hours left, to be precise.

It was around midnight now. In other words, at eight in the morning, Kashius and the others would set off to take part in the Universal Martial Arts Tournament.

Shaking his head, Kashius lowered his gaze to Lacus, already asleep in his arms, and murmured, "My daughter, this world has really given me more than enough surprises."

Kashius had thought that upon returning to this world, he would face Nero's all-out assault. Yet he had never expected that, instead of Nero, what awaited the fully prepared him was the Universal Martial Arts Tournament convened by Zeno—otherwise known as the Tournament of Power.

And it was the kind where, if they lost, their entire universe would be erased.

It had to be said that this "surprise" had truly caught Kashius off guard. Still, the fact that an entire universe could be erased showed that the rule-based power Zeno possessed was far greater than Nero's.

Otherwise, Nero would not have needed to go through so much trouble to kill him. With a wave of his hand, wouldn't Kashius have been finished?

Everything happening in this world had long since ceased to fit the original plot.

Nero, White God, Zeno, angels, the Tournament of Power—none of these had appeared before Kashius's rebirth.

At most, Kashius's memories extended through the full plot of Dragon Ball Z, along with GT and the later Dragon Ball movie—Battle of Gods.
