Smack! Smack! Smack!
A burst of loud slapping suddenly rang out from the sky, sweeping away the silence. Everyone present turned toward the source in surprise, only to find nothing there.
But when they turned back, they all jolted in fright. A man with golden-red eyes was standing before Android 18, carefully poking Lacus's rosy cheek with one finger.
"You bastard! Who are you?!" Raditz demanded coldly.
"Who am I?" Kashut pointed at Lacus. "Her dad."
His face was calm, his expression utterly natural. He looked flawless, without the slightest hint of deceit. If Raditz had not known Kashius, he might really have believed this guy was Lacus's father.
"What kind of joke is this?! My niece's father is Kashius! Who the hell do you think you are?!"
Kashut paused. "Me? I'm Kashut."
"Huh? Kashut? Who's that? Never heard of you. Stop pretending to be my niece's father and get lost, or I'll make you regret it." Raditz had barely taken a step forward when he felt a tug from behind. Turning around, he found Gine tugging at the hem of his clothes.
"Mother? What is this?!"
Gine did not answer Raditz. Instead, she looked at Android 18 and asked, "Mana, why aren't you resisting when this stranger is poking your daughter's cheek?"
After hesitating briefly, Android 18 asked in return, "Why should I resist? He is Kashius."
Other than a few people, everyone present revealed shocked expressions at that answer. They stared at Kashut in disbelief until they noticed the glittering earrings on his ears.
"Potara Earrings? Kashut?" Raditz gasped. "You're Kakarot and Kashius?!"
"Mm, that's right. It's me." Kashut admitted it with complete composure. He turned to watch the increasingly intense battle in the sky, a smile curling at his lips. "This really is an interesting game."
