Christmas Lucky Bird
Hogwarts.
Gryffindor dormitory.
Harry and Ron excitedly unwrapped their gifts.
Harry exclaimed as he dismantled the device:
"I never expected to receive so many gifts. No, I thought I wouldn't receive any at all."
The first gift he opened was from Hagrid: a rough flute.
Harry thought Hagrid must have made it himself, so he tried blowing on it, and it sounded a lot like an owl's hoot.
To his surprise, he even received gifts from his aunt and uncle...
A coin.
A fifty-pence coin.
"They were fairly friendly..."
"Coo--"
Hearing the sound, Ron, who was unpacking a large paper package, didn't even look up.
"Harry, is Hagrid's flute really that fun? Can I borrow it and try it out?"
"Oh, I didn't blow it."
The next moment, the sound of flapping wings rang out.
Harry and his friend saw an owl fly into the room and drop a gift box in front of each of them.
Then the owl simply picked a spot near the bed and stood there quietly.
Ignoring the messenger, whom he was already used to, Harry Ron began unpacking the gift he had just received.
"It was a gift from Lucien. Mine is a broom repair kit. Lucien is so thoughtful!"
Harry excitedly explored the various gadgets, preparing to try out his Nimbus 2000 first.
"Hmm, mine is a portable, resizable lunchbox?"
Ron continued reading the description on the card.
"Lucien made this himself. It keeps things warm for a long time. Wow, it's quite spacious inside!"
"That way I won't have to worry about midnight snacks when I'm hungry at night!"
Ron put his lunchbox away happily, and said with a hint of envy:
"Those Hufflepuff are so lucky, the kitchen is right next to the lounge, they can eat whenever they want."
"Harry, do you think if I weren't Weasley, I would have been sorted into Hufflepuff...?"
Ron suddenly gave a wry smile after only opening one corner of the bulging paper package.
"It was knitted by my Mother, Weasley family signature sweater. Why is mine always purplish-red? It's such a strange color."
"Oh, by the way, Harry, my Mother told me she knitted one for you too, and for Lucien as well. I wonder if he'll like it?"
The owl standing at the head of the bed shook its feathers.
Yes, it looks nice, and it's very warm to wear.
Mrs. Weasley is incredibly skilled at housework and handicrafts.
Lucien, now an owl, turned his neck and looked at the sweater in Harry's hand.
Um, what a bright green! Thank goodness it's not a fluffy hat.
Harry was overjoyed; it was the first time he had ever received brand-new clothes as a gift. He used to only be able to wear his Dudley's hand-me-downs.
He chewed on the handmade gummy that Mrs. Weasley had given him, while simultaneously grabbing a Chocolate Frog that Hermione had given him and stuffing it into his mouth.
"Look, Ron, what's that?"
Harry opened the last gift, and a pool of liquid-like, silvery-gray substance slid onto the floor.
"No way, it really is that?"
Ron picked up the object incredulously and unfolded it.
"This is Invisibility Cloak!"
"Oh my god, if someone gave me an Invisibility Cloak, I'd eat a gourmet meal every day!"
At Ron's urging, Harry tried to put on the Invisibility Cloak.
"It's really gone!"
As Harry ran, a note landed at his feet.
Your father left this to me before he died. Now it should be returned to you. Use it well. Merry Christmas!
Harry stared blankly at the words on it, not understanding who had sent it, especially since it belonged to his father...
The owl's eyes also fell on Harry's Invisibility Cloak.
Wow, the Deathly Hallows have made an appearance so early.
Legend has it that this is a gift from the Grim Reaper, and therefore possesses the property of permanent invisibility.
This is different from ordinary Invisibility Cloak made from the fur of Demiguise, which gradually lose their effectiveness with repeated use and the passage of time, and it is not like the temporary invisibility provided by using the Disillusionment Charm.
Alright, now that Harry has this outfit, he can officially enter the main storyline and search for the Sorcerer's Stone.
Lucien constricted his pupils and, relying on the owl's exceptional eyesight, aimed at an open box of Chocolate Frog.
Okay, let's speed things up.
With a flap of its wings, it flew straight towards the pile of Chocolate Frog.
"Merlin's beard! That owl tried to steal our snacks!"
"Stop it!"
Faced with the two flustered children, Lucien was speechless and skillfully dodged their arms.
Smash the Chocolate Frog, and a card will coincidentally float in front of Harry.
The two could only watch helplessly as the owl snatched away a piece of Chocolate Frog.
Ron stared in disbelief, his mouth agape.
"I must tell George Fred, they definitely won't believe me..."
Harry instinctively caught the card that came with the Chocolate Frog card.
Let's turn our attention to the figure above: Dumbledore.
As the gaze moves downwards, Dumbledore's well-known contributions come to mind: defeating the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, discovering the Twelve Uses of Dragon's Blood, and his collaboration with his partner Nicolas Flamel in Alchemy...
Nicolas Flamel?
Nicolas Flamel!
"Yes, Harry, Hermione specifically asked us to continue searching for Nicolas Flamel before the holidays."
Ron picked up the Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans Hermione had given him, took one out, and popped it into his mouth.
He chewed it once, then silently spat it out.
"Oh no, Nicolas Flamel, look at this card!"
"I knew that name sounded familiar, but I just couldn't place it. Turns out it's here!"
Harry shook Ron's shoulder and shoved the card at Ron's face.
Ron finally managed to make out what was on the card.
"Dumbledore, I already have several..."
"Merlin's wool socks! Nicolas Flamel!"
Ron clutched the card tightly, his eyes fixed on the name, as if afraid it would slip away.
The next second, Ron suddenly turned to look at Harry.
"That owl is our Lucky Bird. George told me that if you encounter an animal that brings good luck on Christmas Day, you should treat it as a treasure, provide it with food every day, and then you'll have a life of plenty and endless good fortune!"
"Harry, we have to find that owl!"
