Summer Vacation at the Dragon Farm, Harry Sympathizes with Malfoy
Inside the Room of Requirement classroom.
Harry and the others left the room, but Lucien kept Malfoy behind alone.
What are we running this morning?
Hearing Lucien's direct question, Malfoy stammered:
"Well, Potter came after me, so I just ran away."
Lucien shook his head slightly. What do you mean, "He chased him, he fled him..."
"Alright, let's come see the Fire Dragon together tonight. I remember you're quite interested in those Magical Creatures."
To Malfoy's surprise, Lucien remembered his hobby, which flattered him greatly.
This straightforward invitation made Malfoy scratch his head.
"I understand what you mean, I won't tell anyone about this."
"Malfoy would never betray a friend."
Lucien was tidying up the exam papers in his hands, while inwardly grumbling.
That is, assuming Malfoy's friends are strong enough.
Do I need to pay?
Upon hearing Malfoy's question, Lucien couldn't help but look up at him.
"What?"
Seeing Lucien's strange look, Malfoy quickly added:
"Oh, my family's dragon farm will also be open to the public, and tourists can pay to take photos with the Fire Dragon."
"So, haha, I'm getting used to it."
Um, taking a photo with Fire Dragon?
Isn't this just courting death and having a death wish?
Fire Dragon are, after all, XXXXX level Magical Creatures, making them extremely dangerous.
No one except highly skilled wizards should approach them.
Yes, the Malfoy family have several dragon farms. If you have time, you can go check them out during the summer vacation.
This can also be considered as scouting out the location for Norbert in advance.
It will be easier to "conquer" those other members of the Spinosaurus clan in the future.
"Draco, those Fire Dragon are real, not magical illusions?"
Malfoy patted his chest and said confidently:
"Our family places great importance on integrity in business!"
"If they say it's Fire Dragon, then it's Fire Dragon! A whole bunch of people are clamoring to see it!"
Malfoy's answer left Lucien speechless for a moment.
His adventurous (and reckless) spirit towards wizards was reaffirmed, and he asked curiously:
"So there haven't been any accidents? After all, Fire Dragon are just too dangerous creatures."
Unexpectedly, Malfoy simply shrugged.
"Yes, there are two or three accidents almost every month."
"Therefore, we also launched supporting insurance services and follow-up treatment, which everyone is very satisfied with."
Haha, what a "one-stop service"!
"Draco, how many Galleon would it cost to visit your dragon farm?"
"No, no, no."
Malfoy shook his head repeatedly.
"No need, just let me know in advance, and we can go directly there!"
Now that Lucien has brought it up, Malfoy naturally knows what to do.
His father had taught him that only by helping each other can the friendship between people deepen and grow stronger.
After dinner.
Inside Hagrid's Hut.
Malfoy stared intently at the little Fire Dragon on the table, even though the dragon was completely engrossed in the wine barrel and showed no interest in him whatsoever.
"Oh, that's Norwegian Ridgeback!"
"It resembles the Hungarian Horntail, except it lacks a stinger on its tail and has an extra row of ridges on its back, hence its name..."
"Its most unusual trait is its fondness for eating aquatic animals; it was once seen carrying away a baby whale..."
"Unfortunately, these dragons are very aggressive, especially towards their own kind, which makes them increasingly rare..."
Malfoy described the characteristics of the Norwegian Ridgeback with great familiarity.
Malfoy was thrilled to be able to observe the Fire Dragon so closely.
Although his family owned a dragon farm, every time he begged his father to take him to see the Fire Dragon, his father would refuse, saying that he was too young and that safety was a concern.
After all, no matter how comprehensive the insurance and medical care provided by the family are, it's still just a way to make money off outsiders.
Who would joke about the safety of the family heir and their beloved only son?
However, his father had promised before the start of the school year that he would take Malfoy on a trip this summer.
This is why Malfoy dared to make a guarantee to Lucien.
Seeing the adorable little Fire Dragon drinking its blood-red brandy, Malfoy instinctively reached out to touch it...
"Ah!"
A sharp scream suddenly rang out.
The others covered their ears in time.
Malfoy quickly pulled his hand back; a row of bloody holes had appeared on the side of his palm, gushing blood.
Norbert was baring his teeth, staring fiercely at the human who dared to offend him.
Malfoy turned pale and covered his hands.
"It's alright, it's alright, he wasn't trying to steal your food."
Lucien reached out and patted Norbert's head, and the latter snorted contentedly, completely unlike his previous irritable self.
Wow, the real Dragon Hide feels so good!
What kind of junk are those Dragonhide Gloves sold in Diagon Alley?
Yes, I guess they were all made of Dragon Hide.
There aren't that many genuine Dragonhide Gloves.
Every year, new students need to buy a pair of Dragonhide Gloves, which will inevitably wear out and need to be replaced.
There are only so many Fire Dragon in the entire world, how could that be enough?
Pure Fire Dragon blood is still scarce; much of it is diluted and adulterated.
Glancing at the pained Malfoy, he hadn't warned them beforehand because he wanted the children to know that dangerous Magical Creatures shouldn't be approached lightly.
When you teach someone by example, they will often learn it in no time.
Lucien withdrew his hand and took out a crystal bottle from his pocket.
Give me your hand.
Malfoy thought Lucien might be trying to help him heal, so he obediently opened his arms.
A drop of clear liquid fell, and then Malfoy's eyes widened.
Because those wounds are healing at a speed visible to the naked eye!
After being bitten, Malfoy remembered that the teeth of the Norwegian Ridgeback contained venom. It might not be fatal, but it would certainly cause the wound to swell and hurt for a few days.
Fire Dragon bites are difficult to heal, but that drop of liquid...
Malfoy guessed it might be some kind of magical potion, and considering Lucien's performance and talent in Potions Class, the more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed.
Seeing Malfoy get bitten by Norbert for his carelessness, and then healed by Lucien, Harry couldn't help but clench his own hand.
He had also been bitten hard by Fluffy, and being bitten by Magical Creatures made Harry feel a little sorry for Malfoy.
Of course, there's only one point.
After finishing the chicken blood brandy, Norbert leaped onto Lucien's lap, curled up, and yawned.
Lucien gently patted the little Fire Dragon's back, humming a soft lullaby, as if soothing a baby to sleep.
Everyone who witnessed this scene couldn't help but envy Lucien.
Sigh, how can anyone be so close to Fire Dragon?
