Lucien Grafton.

Upon seeing the person's appearance in the mirror, Voldemort murmured the person's name.

To be honest, he never expected to see this face tonight.

After much deliberation, Voldemort carefully crafted his words:

"Lucien, this is our formal meeting."

"I am the You-Know-Who people speak of, the Dark Lord. I believe you have heard of my name before."

A hint of smugness and arrogance twisted across Voldemort's terrifying face, as if he were anticipating Lucien's astonished and submissive expression.

But Lucien remained calm, casually placing the crystal bottle containing the potion on the table, which caused Voldemort's gaze to flicker.

After all, Voldemort had personally witnessed Lucien using the Sorcerer's Stone to brew this potion. Wasn't his pursuit of the Sorcerer's Stone precisely for the Elixir of Life and to reshape his physical body?

Voldemort felt he could achieve his year-long goal tonight.

He then thought that Lucien was actually quite easy to deal with.

A gifted child, a child who doesn't resist Dark Magic, a child who thirsts for knowledge—he needs a learned and powerful mentor like him!

"Lucien, after me, you are the best student at Hogwarts."

"Your talent is so outstanding, but how much knowledge can you actually acquire at Hogwarts? Have you ever been to the Restricted Section? That's the real treasure trove."

Upon hearing this, Lucien's eyes flickered.

Indeed, there are so many good books in the Restricted Section that I can't read many in a year.

I don't know if I can still borrow books during the summer vacation. Hmm, I'll ask Dumbledore before the vacation starts.

Having keenly caught Lucien's reaction, Voldemort believed he had persuaded him.

Lucien is always hooked on the topic of knowledge. After a year of getting to know him, Voldemort has confirmed that Lucien is a true Ravenclaw, an eagle passionate about pursuing knowledge and wisdom.

"What a pity! That old pedant, Dumbledore, simply wouldn't allow his students to access that knowledge or try out truly powerful Dark Magic!"

"You think he's protecting you? No, he's just afraid that a genius like you will surpass him in the future, just like he was wary of me back then!"

Voldemort's tone rose, becoming increasingly seductive, both to break down Lucien's defenses and to vent his own past "injustices."

Listening to Voldemort's passionate speech, Lucien almost wanted to applaud him.

No wonder he had a large following during his student days, and later gathered many believers to drive him forward.

Tsk tsk, even if Tom doesn't know magic, he can still do quite well with just his mouth.

Becoming a businessman or politician would be quite suitable; well, the next line of dialogue would probably be promising grand schemes.

"But I'm willing to share with you everything I've learned in my life!"

"Give me the Sorcerer's Stone, and let me be resurrected first. After I obtain the secret of immortality, I will grant you eternal life!"

We will share knowledge and glory together!

Upon hearing this, Quirrell couldn't help but sigh. He had been misled by Voldemort in the Dark Forest.

Knowledge, glory.

How could a Ravenclaw, a wizard with no shortage of talent, refuse?

Upon hearing this, Lucien's lips twitched slightly.

What does "first xx leads to xx" mean?

Lucien finally couldn't help but laugh.

"Haha, someone who was defeated by a one-year-old baby, your promises aren't very convincing."

Lucien's words came from the mirror, instantly darkening Voldemort's expression.

What can be defeated by a baby!

How could the great Voldemort lose to Harry Potter!

The extremism and tyranny within the fragmented soul were unleashed, Voldemort, manipulating Quirrell's body, forcefully swung his wand.

"Call out!"

A jet-black arrow, shrouded in mist, shot straight at Harry on the ground, its tip aimed at his heart.

However, the expected scream did not occur.

"Owner!"

Quirrell gasped as he saw a creature suddenly appear in front of Harry.

That pale golden scale armor, white jade horns, and eyes as clear as glass.

It was this creature that protected the Unicorn in the Forbidden Forest and burned off Quirrell's arm!

Quirrell turned his head, and Voldemort's face turned forward, staring at the strange creature blocking Harry's path.

Hahahahahahaha...

"Good, very good!"

"I see, Lucien, you've really surprised me!"

Voldemort never expected that the creature he had encountered in the Forbidden Forest would appear here. Its incredible vitality left a lasting impression on him, and he never imagined that tonight's harvest would be so bountiful!

"Lucien, with your abilities, don't waste your time at Hogwarts. Come with me..."

Voldemort spoke confidently as he twisted his neck, but his words abruptly stopped when he looked back at the mirror.

The scene in the mirror went blank; Lucien vanished, the platform vanished, and the potion on the platform vanished too!

The next instant, the entire mirror disappeared.

A red flash filled Voldemort's vision.

But Voldemort is not Quirrell; their combat experience and reaction speed are worlds apart.

A burst of blue-purple lightning shot from the tip of the staff, colliding fiercely with the red spell.

"Sizzle sizzle--"

A piercing, sharp sound erupted from the point of magical collision.

"Non-verbal Spell!"

Voldemort's bloodshot eyes turned to the opposite side, to Lucien, who was fighting him.

"Hehe, using Nonverbal Spellcasting in first grade, that's impressive."

"Your aptitude is indeed excellent!"

It instantly took over Quirrell's body, and began to unleash a strange and powerful magical force.

Breaking the stalemate of the spell clashes, Voldemort casually unleashed arcs of electricity, frost, and poisonous mist...

But Lucien resolved them all one by one.

Voldemort was not angered by this; instead, he nodded slightly and smiled with appreciation.

"Excellent, this year of Defense Against the Dark Arts has not been in vain."

"In battle, one must remain calm and respond with composure."

Voldemort focused most of his attention on the strange creature; the conflict in the Forbidden Forest still left a deep impression on him, especially the final act of banning Apparition.

However, we are currently inside Hogwarts Castle, so Apparition is not usable here.

Voldemort was merely guarding against a sneak attack from the creature, while simultaneously continuing to influence Lucien verbally during the battle.

"Lucien, of all the magic and knowledge you've learned, how much do you think was taught by Quirrell, and how much was imparted by me?"

"You should also thank me for your progress and growth."

Lucien had unleashed dozens or even hundreds of spells in a short period of time, let out a light breath, his warm-up complete.

With a click, Lucien pressed the brass pocket watch in his left hand, and a Transfiguration light flashed. A delicate revolver was in Lucien's hand, and bullets were automatically loaded into the cylinder.

Raise the gun and aim at Voldemort.

"An evil dark wizard, daring to impersonate my beloved professor!"
