A huge cheer and clamor filled the Quidditch Pitch.

Lucien stood in Ravenclaw's stands, watching as the Gryffindor and Slytherin teams shook hands, led by Madam Hooch.

As soon as Madam Hooch's whistle blew.

The competition has officially begun!

All fourteen players on the field quickly took off.

However, two of the figures were excessively fast. While others were only ten or twenty meters off the ground, those two had already darted more than thirty meters and stopped steadily in mid-air. Then they turned their heads and looked around, as if searching for something.

The brooms beneath them trailed blue-white lightning bolts, which were particularly noticeable against the leaden sky.

Soon, some young wizards noticed this unusual scene.

"Look, those two are flying so fast!"

"Those must be the Seeker from both teams. They're really fast. What kind of brooms are they using? Why are there still trails?"

"Hey, can I borrow your binoculars? Mine's broken."

"Get lost! It's broken! I think you're just after my model's automatic vision tracking, aren't you? Go buy it yourself from the Seventh Workshop!"

"I already spent all my allowance there, so let's not be so polite, let me see!"

"..."

Lucien did not use a telescope, but instead activated the Eye of Magic Sight, causing two shrunken vortexes to appear in his pupils.

At the same time, he quickly took notes with a small notebook and a quill pen:

"The mana dissipation rate is too high when turning. You can replace the two slowing runes with one slowing rune and one lateral movement rune..."

When Harry swooped down at a near-physically defying right angle, the broomstick tail no longer emitted a smooth arc of electricity, but rather a string of rapidly flashing blue particles of light.

The quill pen scratched across the notebook:

"Under extreme maneuvering, magic transmission exhibited attenuation fluctuations. Materials? Try switching to a mixture of Mithril and snake blood magic crystal..."

Meanwhile, Malfoy, using the broom's ferocious linear acceleration, was catching up with Harry time and time again.

But during one of his high-speed changes of direction, Lucien clearly saw a string of runes on the broom handle suddenly light up.

Another line of text appeared in the notebook:

"Signs of impending overload indicate the braking balance module needs reinforcement. Overly aggressive and abrupt gear changes will prematurely lead to material fatigue, but this is unavoidable in actual racing..."

Suddenly, Lucien frowned.

He saw a Bludger twist abruptly in the air, pause briefly, and then hurtle straight toward Harry's back.

Dobby.

Lucien, having anticipated this, put down his quill and grasped his wand.

In an instant, the rapidly Bludger came to a halt.

Lucien narrowed his eyes, the black vortex in his pupils expanding rapidly, as he looked towards a corner of the stadium, his lips moving slightly.

At this moment, in the audience.

A House-elf. He was short and thin, with bat-like ears and protruding green eyes almost the size of tennis balls.

Dobby is trying to maneuver the Bludger to hit Harry Potter, but he doesn't really want to hurt him; he just wants to get him out of Hogwarts, out of this dangerous place!

But for some reason, the smooth control that was just now suddenly stopped, Bludger seemed to be stuck in a deep quagmire, completely unable to move.

Suddenly, a voice that sounded distant yet whispered in Dobby's ear rang in his mind:

"Don't disturb me while I observe; we'll talk later."

A nameless fear crept into Dobby's heart. The voice was clearly calm, yet it carried an undeniable pressure.

Dobby's small body had just begun to tremble when the voice rang out again:

"Don't be afraid, Dobby. I know you want to protect Harry, but you don't need to resort to these methods."

Upon hearing his name and purpose, Dobby was startled again, and couldn't help but feel bewildered.

Dobby a moment, Duobi put his hands down and dared not make any further movements.

After "seeing" the strange magic on the Bludger disappear, Lucien in the stands put away his wand and continued recording Harry and Malfoy's performance on their East Wind Broom.

Quidditch Match are almost too "lenient," with virtually no restrictions on modified cars, oh, and even modified brooms.

As long as the rider can ride and dares to ride, they can be brought onto the field.

Whether it's manufactured by a professional company or is a counterfeit product, as long as it's fast, everything else is irrelevant.

Lucien watched the two speeding through the air and figured it must be thanks to the magic. With a strong enough healing effect, riding a modified broomstick shouldn't be a big problem as long as you don't die on the spot!

"Merlin's broom, it's that crucial moment again!"

"Both teams' Seeker were incredibly fast today. They seemed to be riding the same model of broomsticks. The speed and agility were astonishing, and oh, those dazzling trails—which company's newest product is that?"

"However, since they have the same broom, the focus should still be on the two Seekers riding Seeker. Hmm, our Gryffindor's Harry Potter is still a cut above the rest!"

Lee Jordan, the commentator for the match, analyzed the performance of the two teams with an excited tone. Of course, as always, he favored his own house, which drew cheers from Gryffindor and loud rebukes from Slytherin.

But Lee Jordan wouldn't care about any of that, after all, he even dared to pretend he didn't hear Professor McGonagall's "warning"!

If he can overwhelm his opponent with his presence and verbally harass them, then what's the point of his commentary if he's truly pursuing fairness?

Oh, Harry's about to catch the Golden Snitch!

With the competition nearing its end and the data collection nearly complete, Lucien put away his notebook and quill.

In the Ravenclaw stands, Lucien was preparing to leave to chat with the House-elf Dobby.

Suddenly a faint, ethereal voice called out to him:

"Lucien, did you invent those two brooms too? It seems like all the new things on campus are related to you."

The sound was soft, almost drowned out by the surrounding cheers, but Lucien still heard it.

He turned around and saw a huge Lions.

Yes, Lions, not the edible Lions, but a lifelike, large Lions that seems to be silently roaring at Lucien.

Lucien looked at Luna's large silver eyes, then at the enormous lion head hat she was wearing, and couldn't help but smile.

"Yes, what do you think of the broom's performance?"

Luna tilted her head, like a puzzled Lions.

"Soon, it took flight with a whoosh, then sprinted forward with a whoosh, making sharp turns, and its little blue and white tail was also very pretty."

Lucien was getting used to Luna's words, but couldn't help glancing at her lion-head hat again, and asked:

"Luna, what's that hat of yours?"

Luna shook her head, causing her lion-head hat to sway precariously, making her look both strange and adorable.

"Oh, I wanted to support Gryffindor. I sewed the hat myself. Although I really wanted to conjure bunny shoes like you do, I've only just learned Transfiguration. Hmm, if possible, I'd also like to make this lion hat roar like a real lion, but I don't know what magic to use?"

Lucien found the girl truly amusing; most people wouldn't imagine she had such a huge Lions on her head.

"You can try the Beast Roar Charm, but you'll need to adjust it to sound like a lion's roar yourself. Alternatively, you can use Recording Charm to record a real lion's roar and then use Preservation Charm to save it on your hat. These spells are all in the book <Elementary Spellbook>, which you can find in the library."

Luna nodded slightly, a glint of light flashing in her silver eyes.

Thank you. You seem to be busy, so I won't bother you any longer.

After saying that, the huge Lions disappeared into the crowd.

Lucien left the stands and, using his Eye of Magic Sight, tracked down to Dobby's location.

Upon seeing a tiny House-elf wearing an old pillowcase, Lucien waved his wand, creating a soundproof barrier around them.

Upon discovering Lucien's arrival, Dobby explained, trembling:

"You must be the owner of that voice just now. Dobby actually tried to hurt Harry Potter! Dobby deserves to be punished, but Hogwarts will be very dangerous this year, and Harry Potter can't stay here. But Dobby's owner wants to... oh no, Dobby can't..."

Dobby's hands, hanging by his sides, were very red and swollen, with blood and flesh covering his knuckles, as if he had forcefully punched something hard.

Lucien glanced at the wooden stake beside him, which was stained with blood.

This House-elf...

With a casual tap of his wand, a pure white light enveloped Dobby's hands Dobby flowing water, Reparo in just a few breaths.

Dobby's eyes widened Dobby, making his already prominent green eyes even more noticeable.

"Thank you, thank you for your kindness..."

Dobby bowed to Lucien as he spoke.

Lucien silently watched Dobby, involuntarily comparing him to Qiu Bi, the House-elf from Nicolas's house.

Both are House-elf, but their clothes and treatment are worlds apart.

Qiu Bi had a wage and a bunch of clothes he liked, Dobby only had an old pillowcase.

Humans should not enslave their fellow human beings, but what about creatures that are not of the same kind...?

In the Wizarding World, House-elf are destined to serve their wizarding family for their entire lives, performing all household chores, and being absolutely obedient to their master's commands, with self-punishment for disobeying.

The House-elf can only gain their freedom by receiving clothing from their masters, but their kind considers this a disgrace of being banished.

Servility is ingrained in the very bones of the House-elf race, with only a very few exceptions, such as Qiu Bi and Dobby in front of us.

"There won't be any danger at Hogwarts this year. If you want to help Harry, you don't need to do it by hurting him."

Upon hearing Lucien's words, Dobby stammered, looking like he wanted to say something but didn't dare to.

Lucien shook his head, turned and left. After collecting the combat data of the East Wind Broom, he would need to make some adjustments when he got back.

"By the way, Dobby, if you ever need a job in the future, the kind that pays you, you can come to me, or come to Hogwarts."

"Dueling Club!"

A group of young wizards gathered around the bulletin board, gazing longingly at a piece of parchment pinned to it.

"The first party is tonight! Oh my god, I can finally learn something useful!"

"Phew, I'm afraid I'm going to fail the Defense Against the Dark Arts in this year's OWL exams. Last year Quirrell, this year it's Lockhart, what bad luck have I had?"

"Indeed, but I wonder who will teach us. Perhaps Professor Flitwick? He was a dueling champion in his youth; he could definitely teach us some real skills."

Everyone was discussing it enthusiastically, with the fifth and seventh graders undoubtedly being the most concerned, as they would be facing the OWLs and NEWTs exams respectively, which would have a decisive impact on their future life plans.

Defense Against the Dark Arts, but the professors in the last two years have been truly disappointing. Last year, they started reading the textbook and gradually became dark wizards, while this year, all they do is tell stories and rehearse plays.

The second-year wizards were also quite excited, after all, they had been in school for over a year and hadn't even properly practiced Defense Against the Dark Arts yet, which was something that would make them a laughing stock.

In a spell class.

Lucien listened as Professor Flitwick spoke eloquently about dueling techniques.

The Dueling Club is so popular that some students asked about it before class.

The news that Professor Flitwick wouldn't be coaching the club was undoubtedly disappointing for many, since spells, aside from Defense Against the Dark Arts, are the most suitable for dueling.

However, to everyone's delight, Professor Flitwick still managed to extend the classroom discussion to the topic of dueling:

"The most important thing in a duel is to stay calm. Randomly casting spells not only disrupts your own formation and gives your opponent an opening, but also wastes your mana, which is not conducive to a prolonged duel..."

"While powerful magic can certainly defeat an enemy in one strike, its long preparation time and susceptibility to interruption mean it may not be the most practical in tense battles. Simple yet quick spells, on the other hand, often have a surprising effect."

"Alright, is there anyone who would like to demonstrate for me?"

Professor Flitwick then turned his attention to Lucien, the student he had the most confidence in.

Lucien also stood up and came to the front of the stage, where he and his dean demonstrated the etiquette of dueling.

Professor Flitwick jumped off the pile of books, swung his cane, and moved the podium to the side, clearing out a larger area.

After bowing to each other while holding their wands, Lucien first cast Shield Charm on himself, a standard opening move in duels.

Professor Flitwick raised an eyebrow, though, since the Protego was something students only encountered in fourth or fifth grade, but Lucien, it wasn't surprising that he had learned it.

The two then exchanged spells, with Flitwick demonstrating techniques such as changing the angle of his wrist to mislead the spell's direction and how to anticipate and dodge an opponent's attack...

"Let's thank Lucien for his demonstration. Who else would like to try?"

The already eager young wizards became even more excited and raised their hands one after another.

But once they actually tried it, they felt the pressure and awkwardness. Compared to before, Professor Flitwick had clearly slowed down, and he was stiff when dodging or casting spells, as if his brain and hands and feet were fighting for control.

This made the young wizards realize even more how difficult it must have been for Lucien and Professor Flitwick to appear so relaxed and at ease. Those who were nearby began asking Lucien for tips.

Besides Charms class, lessons on dueling also appeared in Transfiguration. In Herbology, a young wizard with a vivid imagination asked if he could use Mandrake to attack his opponent. Unfortunately, Professor Sprout gave him a serious warning, saying that it could cause serious injury to the student, but if he encountered bad guys after leaving school, he could do so without hesitation.

After a day of build-up, everyone's anticipation for the Dueling Club reached its peak.
