The Fountain of Fair Fortune's Repercussions
Lucien and Phoebe returned to the Beauxbatons campus together, but when they arrived at the central courtyard, they were slightly stopped in their tracks by the lively scene before them.
Beside the renovated Fountain of Fair Fortune, a long, winding queue had formed, and at a glance, it appeared to be almost entirely made up of girls from Beauxbatons.
They seemed completely unfazed by the lingering winter chill, their faces beaming with anticipation as they held various exquisite bottles and jars, waiting to collect the spring water that was said to have been "rejuvenated."
The air was filled with the chirping of orioles and the vibrant energy of youth, as if even the lingering snow in the courtyard melted faster because of this freshness.
Clearly, the spring water's truly beautifying properties have been noticed by observant people in daily use, and word has spread from one to ten, from ten to a hundred, leading to the lively scene we see today.
Looking at the scene orchestrated by the person beside her, Phoebe smiled knowingly, yet slightly teasingly.
"It seems you no longer need to trouble yourself to fetch water for your friends at Hogwarts. With your abilities, building another one yourself back home shouldn't be too difficult."
Having witnessed firsthand how Lucien dismantled and reconstructed the Fountain of Fair Fortune that night, Phoebe was convinced of this.
Lucien's gaze swept over the statue of Nicolas Flamel and his wife, eternally together, in the center of the fountain.
"The Fountain of Fair Fortune at Beauxbatons holds special significance; it was built by the teachers themselves and is one of the symbols of the school's history and heritage."
For this reason, when he completed the system modification, he deliberately preserved all the appearance details without making any changes.
Lucien had already begun to sketch out a blueprint for the Fountain of Fair Fortune he would recreate after returning to Hogwarts. The design could perhaps be more free-flowing, incorporating some of Hogwarts ' style...
The enthusiasm of the students at Beauxbatons seemed to foreshadow the future splendor of the yet-to-be-born Hogwarts Fountain of Fair Fortune.
It might even be hotter than here.
After all, the students of Beauxbatons were already used to the existence of such a magical fountain, but for the young wizards of Hogwarts, it would be a completely new magical creation.
"It's understandable that the girls are so eager to get their hands on it," Lucien's thoughts drifted, and he thought of another potential benefit, a smile unconsciously curving his lips. "However, this spring might have an unexpected 'blessing' for the boys at Hogwarts."
"Oh?" Phoebe raised her delicate eyebrows.
"It's gentle enough not to damage the scalp or hair roots," Lucien analyzed seriously, a playful glint in his eyes. "You know, Britain men have a common... well, 'height anxiety'."
He gestured to the position of his hairline, "Genetics is one factor, but the water quality where we live also bears some responsibility."
Lucien suspects that part of the reason Snape's thick, greasy black hair survived was because the Old Bat didn't wash his hair very often.
Phoebe was taken aback at first, then couldn't help but laugh out loud, before quickly pursing her lips and shrugging her shoulders slightly.
She tried to imagine Lucien as he entered middle age, handsome but with a receding hairline, and then dared not think about it anymore.
Lucien, however, continued along this line of thought, stroking his chin as if he had discovered a new business opportunity. Now that he thought about it, developing potions or alchemical products specifically for hair care and growth seemed to have a promising market prospect.
Phoebe finally stopped laughing, looked at him with her blue eyes, and her tone returned to its previous teasing tone, but with a hint of serious prediction:
"At this rate, I think in a few decades, Hogwarts students might be proud of ' Lucien Grafton's fountain.'" She paused, her smile deepening. "Hmm, or perhaps it won't even take that long?"
Lucien thought about it carefully.
Um, do you really want to put your name or even a statue on the fountain...?
