What do you mean you brought back a Fountain of Fair Fortune?
Are all the girls in Beauxbatons this beautiful? Do they really use Fountain of Fair Fortune every day?
After asking that question, Hermione followed up with:
"But I've read in books that bathing in the Fountain of Fair Fortune will make you glow!"
She frowned, with an expression that said, "I must figure out anything that's not written in the book."
Lucien waved his hand and explained:
"The girl in the photo is named Phoebe Delacour; her glow is her unique feature. As for the Fountain of Fair Fortune, washing your face and bathing in its waters regularly does have beauty benefits, but it varies from person to person. Hmm, we'll try it out when we have time."
Hermione nodded vigorously, her tone as serious as if she were making a study plan:
"When I'm in higher grades, if there are any more competitions like this, especially in Beauxbatons, I'll definitely give it a try!"
After Hermione finished speaking, she glanced sideways at the silver-haired girl in the photo.
Is her radiance a special quality?
Hermione had seen similar descriptions of this silvery light in books, and this extraordinary beauty seemed to be...
Hearing the little witch's confident statement, Lucien chuckled, realizing he hadn't explained clearly and Hermione had "misunderstood." He then clarified:
"No, we at Hogwarts already have a ' Fountain of Fair Fortune '."
"What?"
The three little ones were stunned at the same time.
"I mean—" Lucien's smile deepened as he looked at their bewildered expressions, "I'm going to Beauxbatons this time, and while I'm there..."
Harry and the others were dumbfounded as they listened to Lucien's account.
What do you mean you went to Beauxbatons and then brought back a replica of their iconic magical building?
That's the magic fountain that Nicolas Flamel built himself!
"So..." Ron swallowed hard, "So now Hogwarts also has a magical fountain that can make people more beautiful or handsome?"
His eyes widened, then a look of regret appeared on his face:
"Oh, Bill Charlie really missed out, graduating too early."
Ron lamented that his two older brothers, who had graduated from Hogwarts several years ago, were no longer able to enjoy such Fawley.
Hermione, however, didn't join in the sentimentality, but frowned and muttered:
"So, should we pay Mr. Nicolas Flamel a patent fee?"
Before Lucien went to Beauxbatons, Hermione asked him to bring back some water from the Fountain of Fair Fortune, which was both the little girl's longing for beauty and the young wizard's curiosity about magical wonders.
When Hermione returned and saw that Lucien hadn't mentioned it, Hermione assumed that he hadn't forgotten, but simply that it was inconvenient to fetch water, since the Fountain of Fair Fortune belonged to Beauxbatons.
But Lucien said he also built a Fountain of Fair Fortune directly at Hogwarts?
Isn't this a bit too "foul"?
Will the headmaster of Beauxbatons or Nicolas Flamel personally come knocking on my door in the future?
Lucien was speechless for a moment, finding the little witch's thought process quite amusing; her first reaction was actually about copyright issues.
However, this problem...
I learned the construction principles of the Fountain of Fair Fortune directly from Professor Nicolas, and I even mentioned wanting to replicate it after returning to Hogwarts, which I received my teacher's permission for. And...
How can something as trivial as learning be considered an infringement of rights?
Harry suddenly exclaimed "Ah!"
"I remember now!" Harry slapped his thigh. "This morning, on my way back to the castle from Quidditch practice, I saw several female Ravenclaw Quidditch Team players gathered around a fountain."
He recalled the scene from that morning, "I was wondering why there was suddenly a fountain there, but I was in a hurry to get back to class, so I didn't go over to take a closer look."
So that was Lucien's doing?
"On the way to the stadium?" Hermione's eyes lit up. "That's not far from the castle?"
Lucien nodded. "It's in the middle of that path, on the grassy area near the lake."
As soon as she finished speaking, Hermione stood up abruptly.
Her two small hands were clenched into fists, her eyes shone, and her whole body was full of energy, as if she had been enchanted.
I want to go see it right now!
Ron was startled by her sudden enthusiasm and almost slipped off his chair.
Harry stood up with a smile, brushing the crumbs off his robes. "I want to go see too."
Hagrid waved cheerfully, "Go on, go on, before it gets dark."
Hermione had already taken two steps toward the door, then turned back to look at Lucien, her eyes filled with urgency and joy.
