The basement of the Gaunt Ancestral Home.

The deep tunnel stretched out before us, its uneven stone walls gleaming with a damp, dark sheen.

Dumbledore walked ahead, with Lucien close behind. Several orbs of light hovered around them, emitting a soft white light that illuminated the road ahead and the stone walls on either side.

Since falling into the cave, the two have encountered all sorts of traps and attacks.

Fortunately, everything turned out alright.

As for the ring in the wooden box we got earlier, it was just a prop, not a real Horcrux.

However, the emblem on the ring caught Dumbledore's attention...

The tunnel gradually widened, and a stone chamber carved out of the rock appeared ahead.

In the center of the stone chamber stood a short, thick stone pillar, with a simple stone box on top.

Dumbledore stepped forward, tapped his wand lightly, and the lid of the stone box slid open silently.

The inside of the stone box was lined with dark red velvet and held a ring.

A pure black gemstone, smooth as a mirror, is set in the gold ring.

It looks exactly the same as the one in the wooden box before, but you can feel that the magical fluctuations on this ring are deeper and more solid.

The moment the pure black gem came into view, Dumbledore's gaze was fixed on it, his eyes widening slightly.

At the same time, a voice echoed in Dumbledore's ears—very faint, as if from a great distance, or as if seeping from within the black gem, carrying an inexplicable sense of familiarity:

"Albus... brother..."

The voice was very soft, as if it had traveled through many years to reach this place.

Dumbledore's face showed disbelief, and his eyes behind his half-moon spectacles were filled with confusion and bewilderment. He slightly opened his mouth and murmured a name:

"Ariana?"

As if by instinct, Dumbledore reached for the ring, his fingers trembling slightly, wanting to grasp it, wanting to grasp that voice, wanting to hear it more clearly...

"Principal, are you alright?"

Lucien's voice was like a bucket of cold water, causing Dumbledore to pause slightly.

At the same time, he felt his arm being pulled, not with much force, but enough to interrupt his forward-leaning posture.

Lucien waved his wand, causing the stone box containing the ring to close again.

As the ring disappeared from sight, the fleeting call also vanished.

Dumbledore stood there, his breathing gradually calming down, as if he had been pulled back from a deep dream.

He took a deep breath, adjusted his half-moon glasses, and remained silent for several seconds.

"If I'm not mistaken, the black gemstone on this ring might be the legendary ' Resurrection Stone.' Legend has it that this gemstone is a gift from Death, capable of resurrecting the dead, and is one of the Deathly Hallows..."

Dumbledore brandished the oddly shaped wand in his hand:

"As for the Deathly Hallows... this is also Deathly Hallows, the Elder Wand. I'll tell you more about them after we get out of here."

Lucien didn't ask any further questions, but simply nodded, his gaze fixed on the closed stone box.

"I sensed a faint aura of curse on the ring, very faint, as if it were deliberately suppressed, and could only be detected upon close contact."

Dumbledore sigh. Lucien had an exceptional talent for Dark Magic and a keener sense of curses.

If Lucien hadn't stopped him in time, he might have picked up the ring and even put it on.

Dumbledore wasn't sure whether the ability to lure people into wearing the ring by calling out the voices of the dead was an effect of the Resurrection Stone itself, or a spell added by Voldemort.

Although both are Horcrux, the diary was Tom's work during his student days, so it might not even be Horcrux "actively" created.

When this ring, containing the fragments of his soul, was being used, Tom must have become Voldemort, his mind becoming more sinister, and he wielding even more evil magic.

The curse placed on the ring must be hidden and deadly!

Overwhelmed by guilt and longing for his sister Ariana, Dumbledore momentarily forgot the danger and instinctively reached for the ring.

Dumbledore never imagined that Voldemort would actually find the legendary Resurrection Stone and even forge it into Horcrux...
