After unifying the dragon race, the Dragon God became the progenitor revered by its dragons. The Nine Dragon Kings were his first-generation Dragon Kings and adopted sons; each received a drop of the Dragon God's essence blood and possessed a talent suited to cultivating a divine law. Their descendants formed numerous second- and third-generation dragon lineages. 32 72
The Dragon God rose from a minor dragon of a lower plane into the Nine-Colored Dragon God. Challengers appeared throughout his rise, including the Phoenix God King, who commanded time, space, and creation power. 3 140
He led the Divine Dragon Realm in an attempt to ascend into a Divine Star, gathering faith from dozens of galaxies as a source of power. He had intended to pass the ascended realm to his biological descendant before following the Dragon Clan Empress into reincarnation. This era ended in a war involving the Dragon God, eighteen God Kings, and countless human and beast gods; the Dragon God Realm was ultimately ruined and shattered. 17 65 141
The later Douluo Divine Realm arose amid the ruins of the Dragon God Realm during the transition between the old and new divine realms. The Dragon God's Nine-Colored Dragon Bone remained at the center of Dragon Valley Small World, radiating pressure that prevented other dragons from approaching it. When Di Tian inherited the origins of the Light and Dark Dragon Kings and ascended to God King, the Dragon God's slumbering Divine Sense awakened. It recognized its former chief guard but confronted him after discovering that Di Tian had imprisoned the Golden Dragon King's remaining origin and bound Silver Dragon King Nana as his mount. 118 139 140
Di Tian acknowledged the Dragon God's guidance but declared that he had to rebel for self-preservation. Rather than immediately fight, he showed the Divine Sense memories of the Golden and Silver Dragon Kings' conduct and argued that ability, rather than descent alone, should determine succession. The Dragon God was torn between accepting Di Tian as a successor and honoring his promise to the Dragon Clan Empress to pass his legacy to a biological descendant. It later departed, and the Dragon God's true spirit entered the Rebirth Road alongside the Dragon Clan Empress and Dragon Prince. The Dragon God stood at the rank of a supreme God King and possessed bloodline power of an exceptionally high origin. Even the dormant bloodline within the second-generation Dragon God Egg can stimulate and enhance other bloodlines. 1 15 20
