Background

Qin Mu grew up in Crippled Old Village, where he herds cattle and is raised and trained by the village's disabled but formidable elders. Village Chief instructs him in vital-qi cultivation, while Butcher teaches him knife techniques and Blind Man teaches movement arts. 16 36

Village Chief and the other elders tell Qin Mu that he possesses a rare Tyrant Body and must repeatedly break increasingly powerful barriers within his brow to release its potential. Qin Mu accepts this completely and cultivates with unwavering confidence. The Heavenly Saint Sect's young Patriarch later recognizes that the Tyrant Body was a fabricated story intended to prevent Qin Mu from feeling inferior over lacking an innate spirit body; nevertheless, Qin Mu's faith in it and relentless training help forge his exceptional strength. 18 35 36 93
