Background / History

A massive light screen appeared simultaneously above the entire Douluo Continent. It was visible from any location and carried pressure so overwhelming that Bibi Dong, a rank 99 Peerless Douluo, felt insignificant before it. Tang San could not see through it even with his Purple Demon Eyes, while Yu Xiaogang initially misidentified it as an illusion. 1

The Sky Screen announced a program in which randomly selected Douluo natives would receive training in the world of Tales of Herding Gods, with divine treasures and a chance to surpass rank 100 offered as incentives. It then transported five initial participants and broadcast their experiences one at a time to the entire continent. 1

Its broadcasts proved that the transported explorers faced genuine danger: Wang Xiu, Liu Dao, and Li Ziyang died in the Great Ruins, with their deaths visible to all viewers. These events disproved the belief that the Sky Screen was merely an illusion. 2 4 6

After the first group, the Sky Screen conducted further selections, transported new participants to different locations, and shifted its broadcasts between explorers and major events in the other world. 8 20 37 53 65

Continental Broadcast

The Sky Screen projects images and announcements across the whole Douluo Continent, including locations normally isolated by barriers.

Explorer Selection and Transportation

The Sky Screen randomly selects individuals from Douluo Continent and teleports them into the Tales of Herding Gods world.

• The first announced group consisted of Zhu Dazhi, Wang Xiu, Chen Aniu, Liu Dao, and Li Ziyang. 1
• A second group included Dugu Bo, Hu Liena, Zhu Zhuyun, Flender, and Old Jack. 8

The Sky Screen evaluates explorer actions and publicly issues achievement-based rewards.

• It identified Qin Mu as the Child of Destiny of the Tales of Herding Gods world. 36
• Hu Liena and Qin Mu’s survival through the Great Ruins’ Dark Night Ruins earned the Life and Death Together achievement. 36
• Hu Liena’s survival for more than three days and her witnessing of the Lijiang Sect’s destruction earned the Great Ruins Witness hidden achievement. 52
• The reward for Hu Liena’s achievement expanded the transportation passage and added two trainee slots. 52
