Huo Wu threw off the covers and stepped barefoot onto the floor. A tearing pain immediately shot through her Fire Shadow Martial Soul.
Huo Wushuang reached out to support her.
"You just woke up. Don't move around."

"I have to know what Tang San did."
She raised a hand. Flames gathered in her palm, then scattered. Even after several attempts, she couldn't form a complete fireball.
The healing Soul Master hurriedly pressed a hand to her shoulder.
"If you keep trying, your Martial Soul will suffer more damage."
Huo Wu didn't struggle. She only stared at the last scrap of flame in her palm.
"My Ring Fusion wouldn't cause this."
Huo Wushuang watched her for a long moment before speaking. "Then who do you think tampered with it?"
"Tang San."
"He was standing inside the fireball. He never came near you."
"His vines entered the fireball."
Huo Wu looked up, her face still pale.
"Blue Silver Prison bound us. His Soul Power could have followed the vines into my Martial Soul."
Huo Wushuang didn't argue at once.
He thought back to the arena. After Tang San walked out of the fireball, Huo Wu's Soul Power had begun to vanish. The two events did seem connected.
