"Shrek Academy, enter!"
A Spirit Hall deacon stepped aside. Tang San led the other six onto the square, where stone slabs stretched all the way to the steps of Pope Hall.
Xiao Wu walked on his right, her gaze sweeping over the sword-bearing knights on either side.
"Third Brother, the Titled Douluo are all up there."
"Don't look at them. Watch our opponents first."
Tang San stopped at one end of the arena.
Across from them stood seven people in white uniforms. The man at the front had short black hair, and his features bore some resemblance to the woman beside him.
Xie Yue.
Hu Liena.
Behind them, a red-haired young man stood with his arms crossed. His fire-attributed Soul Power had already raised the temperature around him.
Yan looked over the Shrek team, his gaze finally settling on Tang San.
"Coming first in the Preliminary Tournament makes you think you can still hold your heads high here?"
Dai Mubai took half a step forward.
"Once you've lost, you'll know whether we can."
"A Soul Ancestor dares talk back?"
Yan uncrossed his arms. Scorched marks appeared on the stone beneath his feet.
"Don't surrender too quickly. I'll break your legs first."
"Then try it."
Tang San raised a hand to stop Dai Mubai.
"Winning an argument won't win the match."
Xie Yue stepped away from Hu Liena.
"You're Tang San?"
"I am."
"You crippled a few academy teams with poison, and now you think you're a genius."
"If Spirit Hall believes I broke the rules, it can disqualify Shrek Academy."
Tang San looked up toward the steps.
"Since the match is going ahead, you must have no evidence."
Xie Yue's Moon Blades unfolded from his palms.
"I don't need evidence. The arena will settle it."
"Well said."
