Ever since Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu had been taught a lesson by Lin Yuan a few days ago, they had come to visit the Ultra Instinct Dojo almost every day.

Although they had left a very poor impression on the dojo's disciples, they were quick to correct their mistakes.

Moreover, with their formidable strength, they soon got along well with Nam and the other disciples.

Today was no exception. Lin Yuan had just arrived at the dojo when he saw that Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu had already come early and were practicing the basics alongside the other disciples.

With their strength, there was really no need for them to practice the basics. But perhaps they wanted to show their determination to start over, or perhaps they hoped Lin Yuan would accept them and teach them martial arts.

In any case, Lin Yuan had already intended to take the two of them in.

He had come today to discuss exactly that. Lin Yuan first called over Nam, Sate, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and the others.

He then asked whether Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu were willing to join his dojo and train together.

Tien Shinhan was naturally willing. After witnessing Lin Yuan's overwhelming strength and recognizing his own shortcomings, he had already entertained the idea.

As for Chiaotzu, he said only one thing: "If Tien agrees, then I agree." And just like that, the Ultra Instinct Dojo gained two more capable fighters.

Afterward, Lin Yuan roughly explained the future training plan, stating that some people could advance ahead of schedule to the next stage: combat, weighted training, and ki training.

Lin Yuan then handed Nam three capsules. The first contained several strength testers, capable of measuring values from 1 to 200. A full-force punch against one would test a person's strength value. Roughly speaking, 1 combat power ≈ 2 points.

Once the value reached 20 points, combat training could be added. At 40 points, weighted training could begin. The weight would increase along with the value. And once it reached 80 points—roughly 40 combat power—ki training could begin.

The second capsule contained several hundred sets of weighted clothing, ranging from ten to one hundred pounds.

The final capsule contained his Gravity Chamber. Only those whose test value exceeded 200 could enter it to train.

When speaking of the Gravity Chamber, Lin Yuan's expression was rather stern. After all, if one's strength was insufficient, even twice Earth's gravity could prove fatal! He had to make them understand the seriousness of it.

Nam would oversee this, with Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and the others assisting. They had to be strict. This was for everyone's safety.

Lin Yuan had asked Bulma to make both the strength testers and the weighted clothing. He had spent half a day collecting data alongside her before the strength testers were finally completed. Their readings were generally quite accurate for those below 100 combat power.

After imparting some of Korin's training insights to the four of them, Lin Yuan got up and headed for Kami's Lookout.

Above the clouds, at Korin Tower.

After greeting Korin, Lin Yuan headed straight up to Kami's Lookout.

Standing at the entrance to the lookout, Lin Yuan gazed at the grand structure, his heart filled with reverence and anticipation. Looking around, there was nothing at all surrounding the lookout. It seemed completely isolated from the world, with only the gentle sound of the wind echoing in his ears.

"So this is Kami's Lookout?" Lin Yuan murmured, then stepped inside.

Within the lookout stood an old man in a white robe, his skin a dark bluish-green. He stood quietly there, his gaze deep and peaceful. He was Earth's Kami.

Beside Kami stood a relatively short, dark-skinned man with an honest smile on his face.

This man was Mr. Popo.

"Lin Yuan, you have finally come." Kami's voice was low and gentle, as though he had long expected Lin Yuan's arrival.

Lin Yuan respectfully bowed and said, "Lord Kami, Mr. Popo, I came here in hopes of receiving your guidance and becoming stronger."

Kami nodded, a trace of approval in his gaze.

"It seems you do know some things. Otherwise, you would not have come directly here. As for guidance in training, leave that to Popo."

Mr. Popo answered, "Yes."

Lin Yuan bowed again.

"Thank you, Lord Kami. Then I will be in Mr. Popo's care."

And so, under Mr. Popo's urging, Lin Yuan began his advanced training.

Mr. Popo's training methods were unique and demanding.

He required Lin Yuan to first calm his mind and feel nature, without allowing even the slightest stray thought.

And the first lesson in calming his mind was... meditation.

In truth, sitting in meditation for long periods was incredibly boring, and Lin Yuan often found his mind wandering. Whenever that happened, Mr. Popo would urge him from the side, "When you are still, be like the sky. When you move, be like lightning. Usually, you must think of nothing in your heart, like a stone..."

Lin Yuan faithfully followed the instruction and began imagining himself as a tiny stone~~

And so, aside from eating and sleeping, Lin Yuan spent every day meditating.

Who knew how much time passed before Lin Yuan's expression gradually became more and more peaceful, while the lake of his inner world grew ever calmer, without the slightest ripple.

Gradually, he began to feel nature—not by sensing it with ki, but through his body communicating with nature. The sensation was incredibly wondrous.

Mr. Popo had watched Lin Yuan's changes all along. Seeing that Lin Yuan had finally grasped the secret of stillness, Mr. Popo smiled with satisfaction.

Time always passed swiftly during training.

Before he knew it, a year had gone by.

Over the course of that year, Lin Yuan had thoroughly mastered the mysteries of stillness and movement. To put it in modern terms: still as a maiden, swift as a hare.

Of course, the results of the training were far more profound and detailed than those words could convey.

The training that followed was about gaining insight into those two changes through constant battle.

It sounded simple, but doing it was incredibly difficult.

It might take him a long time of meditation to enter that tranquil, detached state of "stillness," where he forgot himself.

Mr. Popo's requirement, however, was that he be able to enter that state of stillness anytime, anywhere, even in the midst of fierce combat.

After training for a while longer, Lin Yuan discovered that his control over his qi had become exquisitely precise.

The benefit was that during battle, he could expend the least amount of stamina to unleash the greatest amount of power.

If the old Lin Yuan could knead his qi into a great tree and smash his enemies to death with it, then now, he could knead his qi into a Power Pole and wield it in his hand with whistling force.

His ultimate goal, however, was to condense his qi into a fine needle and use it to thread a line.

The analogy might have been a little exaggerated, but that was exactly how Lin Yuan felt.

As he sensed the foundation of his martial arts growing deeper, Lin Yuan became ever more absorbed in his training.

The feeling of drawing out the potential hidden within his body, potential he had never been able to sense before, was simply marvelous.
