West City.
Inside a dojo that had begun to take shape.
The disciples' shouts echoed as they trained, fists cutting through the air and legs flashing in motion, all brimming with youthful energy.
So far, the Ultra Instinct Dojo had taken in nearly sixty disciples.
These disciples all shared one goal—becoming stronger!
Some pursued strength for its own sake!
Others hoped that after becoming stronger, they could win prize money and improve their families' lives.
Overall, they were all of fairly good character.
Before the disciples, Nam taught everyone the fundamentals while the disciples below studied and copied his movements attentively.
Suddenly, the dojo's doors were forced open by a brutal surge of power, and two figures slowly walked in.
Everyone immediately stopped moving and turned toward the sound.
One of them was short and thin, floating eerily in midair, his face still carrying a hint of childishness.
The other was his complete opposite—broad and muscular, with knotted muscles and three eyes on his face. His gaze was sharp as lightning, and his presence was intimidating.
The newcomers were Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu.
Nam called over a handsome young man with a well-proportioned build from among the disciples and had him take over instructing everyone.
Nam could sense that these two were far from ordinary. In particular, the tall three-eyed man brought him immense pressure.
He immediately strode over to them, cupped his hands, and asked, "May I ask why you two have come to our Ultra Instinct Dojo?"
Tien Shinhan gave a cold laugh. His three eyes swept across the dojo at once, and his voice was deep and forceful.
"I heard there's someone named Lin Yuan here who calls himself the strongest under heaven? Bring him out. I want to test his skills."
Nam frowned, instantly understanding that they had come to provoke them. He no longer bothered with courtesy and said flatly, "Mr. Lin is not at the dojo at the moment. Please leave."
Over the past half year, Nam had seen quite a few troublemakers like this. He had handled them all properly.
But these two were clearly not so simple.
Tien Shinhan snorted, his tone full of disdain.
"Hmph. From the looks of it, this so-called strongest under heaven is nothing but an empty title. His disciples are all trash, so their master can't be much stronger either."
Seeing them insult Lin Yuan and the Ultra Instinct Dojo, Nam's expression instantly turned icy. At the same time, the disciples in the dojo shouted indignantly, demanding that they get out!
Watching these ants yell at him, Tien Shinhan snorted coldly and abruptly raised a hand. A powerful burst of energy erupted at once, blowing the dojo's disciples off their feet and leaving terror on their faces.
Only a handful remained standing.
Feeling Tien Shinhan's powerful energy, Nam's face grew grave. He understood that there would be no peaceful resolution today, so the only choice was to make them shut up.
"Since you two insist on being so stubborn, then allow me to learn from you."
Nam assumed a fighting stance and spoke in a low voice.
Seeing Nam's stance, Tien Shinhan crossed his arms and said teasingly, "Fine. I'll beat you flat first, then smash this dojo to pieces. Let's see whether that Lin fellow can still sit still after that. Hahaha!"
The battle was on the verge of breaking out.
Nam struck first, his body flashing like lightning as he drove a fist straight at Tien Shinhan's chest.
However, Tien Shinhan merely shifted slightly to the side and easily avoided the blow. He then swung a palm in return, its force as sharp as a blade as it shot toward Nam's face.
Nam hurriedly retreated, but the palm wind still grazed him, leaving a bloody cut across his face.
Chiaotzu floated nearby and watched coldly, as though he had already seen the outcome of the battle.
Nam was secretly shocked. He knew that the gap between himself and Tien Shinhan was enormous, but he still gritted his teeth and launched another attack.
Yet no matter how he attacked, Tien Shinhan calmly neutralized every move, as though he were merely toying with him.
After several exchanges, Nam was already panting heavily. Tien Shinhan seemed to have had enough fun, and he found an opening to plant a palm on Nam's chest.
Nam was sent flying into the air, blood spilling from his mouth before he crashed heavily to the ground.
Seeing this, the young man who had taken Nam's place rushed to his side and said in panic, "Brother Nam, are you all right? Damn it! I'll fight them!"
The panic on the young man's face immediately turned to rage, and he charged toward Tien Shinhan.
But Chiaotzu suddenly blocked his path. Before the young man could even see who it was, his vision blurred, and he was sent flying backward.
Seeing that no one in the dojo dared to step forward, Tien Shinhan immediately lost interest and called out loudly, "I'll come again tomorrow. Make sure you tell Lin Yuan to obediently wait to be defeated by me, or else..."
Tien Shinhan had only gotten halfway through his sentence when a cold voice suddenly came from the dojo entrance.
"I'm right here. May I ask if you two were looking for me?"
The voice was not loud, yet it instantly stirred up the disciples in the dojo, as if they had found someone to rely on.
Lin Yuan had been training at home when he sensed two powerful ki signatures appearing near the dojo.
Realizing something was wrong, he rushed over at once and saw Sate being kicked away.
Tien Shinhan looked at the young man before him, a trace of excitement flashing through his eyes as he sneered.
"You're Lin Yuan? Your disciples are far too fragile. I didn't even make a move, and they were already down. I wonder if you're just as easy to beat?"
Lin Yuan ignored Tien Shinhan and walked straight over to Nam and Sate.
He broke a Senzu Bean in half and fed one half to each of them.
Sate was a disciple Lin Yuan had taken in half a year ago. Among the current fifty or sixty disciples, his talent was among the best.
He was the strongest member of the Ultra Instinct Dojo aside from Nam.
Nam felt somewhat ashamed and was just about to say something when Lin Yuan stopped him.
Sate, on the other hand, was extremely excited, looking at Lin Yuan with worship in his eyes.
His dream was to become someone like Lin Yuan—handsome, rich, and most importantly, powerful!
"You two did your best. Leave the rest to me."
After saying that, Lin Yuan stood up, his cold gaze sweeping over Tien Shinhan as he spoke.
"You're proud of yourself, Tien Shinhan? No wonder you're so weak. With that kind of mentality, it's only natural."
Tien Shinhan had thought Lin Yuan would angrily curse him out. He had not expected such words, and his expression immediately darkened. Besides, how did Lin Yuan know his name?
He did not want to think about it any further. All he needed to do was defeat Lin Yuan in front of him and see how much longer he could keep running his mouth!
Then, with a flash, Tien Shinhan appeared directly in front of Lin Yuan and threw a straight punch.
Before his fist even reached him, a sense of danger surged in Tien Shinhan's heart.
The next second.
Lin Yuan's eyes sharpened, and a solid, heavy burst of ki erupted from him, slamming into Tien Shinhan.
"Bang!!!"
Tien Shinhan crashed to the ground.
He felt as though his internal organs had nearly been knocked out of place, and a sweet taste rose in his throat.
Tien Shinhan clutched his chest and struggled to his feet, shock written all over his face. "How could he be this strong? Just a single burst of ki..."
"Tien!!!"
Seeing Tien Shinhan injured, Chiaotzu charged at Lin Yuan without hesitation.
Tien Shinhan shouted angrily to stop him.
"Come back, Chiaotzu! You're no match for him."
Tien Shinhan knew clearly that even if he and Chiaotzu joined forces, they would not have the slightest chance of winning.
Lin Yuan looked at the wary Tien Shinhan and slowly walked toward him.
"Tien Shinhan, you have great talent, but it's a pity you followed the wrong master. It's not too late to turn back now. Otherwise, your path in martial arts may end here."
Hearing those words, Tien Shinhan fell into thought.
He had indeed felt that he had reached a bottleneck, and his temperament had also grown increasingly violent.
Perhaps... Lin Yuan was right. He simply had never figured it out before.
Then Tien Shinhan clasped his hands, bent at the waist, and bowed deeply as he said sincerely.
"What happened today was a moment of foolishness on my part. Thank you for your guidance, Mr. Lin Yuan. I hope you can forgive my recklessness."
Lin Yuan forgave him.
He knew Tien Shinhan was not bad by nature, and Lin Yuan had not held back with that strike just now.
Together with his verbal warning, Tien Shinhan should be able to come to his senses in time.
Besides, Tien Shinhan's strength and talent were both first-rate. Perhaps he could even be recruited into the dojo?
Thinking this, Lin Yuan had already walked up to Tien Shinhan. He patted him on the shoulder and smiled.
"I can tell your heart isn't bad. You simply took the wrong path in pursuing martial arts. If you don't mind, you can come to the dojo more often to spar and exchange pointers. You're welcome anytime."
Tien Shinhan thanked him once more.
A bag of Senzu Beans and a pack of cigarettes could keep Second Form Cell under control for a whole day!
Though that saying was somewhat exaggerated, it was enough to prove how powerful Tien Shinhan was!
Compared to Krillin, Yamcha, and the others, Tien Shinhan was a martial arts fanatic through and through.
He spent virtually all his time training. It was just that Goku and the others all had their own advantages, while Tien Shinhan had always trained alone. He had never used a gravity chamber, potential unlocking, or the Room of Spirit and Time.
So he had gradually been left behind...
