A Brief Parting

These two wishes were ones Lin Yuan had planned long ago, and they were also the abilities that would help him the most in the short term.

Shenron seemed to "think" for a moment before suddenly saying, "That's simple."

A red light suddenly flashed from his pair of slit pupils, and then he turned into seven Dragon Balls that scattered across the world.

Lin Yuan agreed again. Then the two got into their vehicles and headed off in different directions...

Most of the buildings in town had the distinctive oval shape characteristic of Dragon Ball.

After looking around, Lin Yuan drove into town.

First, he sold an extra capsule for fifty thousand—Ox-King had given one each to him and Bulma when they parted ways. Then he filled up his vehicle with fuel and went to a shop to buy a pair of gloves and a face mask.

After buying what he needed, Lin Yuan asked the shop owner about Rabbit Boss's whereabouts.

From the terrified expression on the merchant's face...

Lin Yuan had confirmed that it was in this town, though he still did not know its exact location.

But Lin Yuan was in no hurry and simply wandered around the town.

Before long, he spotted two Black men wearing rabbit ears and uniforms causing trouble in front of a shop.

Lin Yuan walked up behind them and called out, "Hey! You two niggers. Don't bully people."

Whether that word had angered them or not, the two Black men turned around at the same time and began cursing furiously.

Lin Yuan did not indulge them. With one punch, he knocked one of them unconscious.

Seeing how fierce the man before him was, the other Black man immediately raised his gun and tried to fire.

But before he could even lift the muzzle, Lin Yuan had already flashed to his side.

Lin Yuan raised his foot and kicked the back of his knee, forcing him to drop to his knees on the spot.

Lin Yuan snatched the gun, pressed it against the man's head, and threatened, "If you don't want to die, call your boss over here!"

Trembling, the Black man pulled out a walkie-talkie and reported to Rabbit Boss:

"Boss, emergency! While we were carrying out our assignment in front of the fruit shop, some guy suddenly came over and knocked us down. He said he wanted you to come over, or he'll kill me! Boss, come save—"

Before he could finish, Lin Yuan knocked him out with another punch.

When the surrounding villagers heard that Rabbit Boss was coming, they immediately ran back into their homes and did not dare come outside.

Lin Yuan stood nearby and waited for Rabbit Boss, putting on the gloves and mask he had bought while he was at it.

Though he did not think Rabbit Boss could touch him, it was always better to be careful.

Just then, a window in the house across the street opened, and a little boy stuck his head out and shouted at Lin Yuan, "Big brother, run! That monster is coming soon! He'll turn people into carrots and eat them!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the window slammed shut, as if he were extremely afraid of Rabbit Boss.

Lin Yuan merely smiled and ignored him.

Not long after, a car drove over. It looked especially conspicuous on the empty street, particularly with the character for rabbit printed on it.

Lin Yuan was certain that this was Rabbit Boss's car.

Once the car stopped in front of him, Rabbit Boss slowly stepped out.

After getting out, Rabbit Boss fixed his gaze on Lin Yuan, extended a hand, and said amicably, "Hello, friend. I'm Rabbit Boss. They are my subordinates... uh??..."

Too lazy to listen to its nonsense, Lin Yuan suddenly lunged forward and drove a straight punch into Rabbit Boss's chest.

Once his combat power was higher, he would go train at Korin Tower!

And so, Lin Yuan set off on the road to West City...
