Manager Hou’s probing over the Jiang Xiaoqi affair briefly forced Liu’s cultivation to show signs of regression, but Liu openly resisted his former superior’s intimidation. He soon recovered, stabilized at the fourth level of Qi Refinement, and completed a Fire Crow Dao Sigil. 12 21
