Old Supreme Kai

Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito were revived by Namek's Shenron.

"Unbelievable!!!"

"We actually came back to life?"

Both Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito wore disbelieving expressions.

"Where are Babidi and Dabura?"

The two searched their surroundings until they spotted the shell containing the seal on Majin Buu.

Supreme Kai Shin's face turned pale with terror! He staggered back again and again, hurriedly fleeing back to the Supreme Kai World with Kibito.

When Babidi had revived Majin Buu, Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito had appeared to stop him, but it had been useless. They could not defeat Dabura and were instantly killed. After Majin Buu was revived, Dabura provoked him and was eaten by Majin Buu as a snack.

On the Supreme Kai World—

"That demon really came out!!"

Majin Buu's terror had been deeply etched into Supreme Kai Shin's mind. At the thought of Majin Buu's harmless-looking face, his entire body trembled.

"Too terrifying!"

Supreme Kai Shin collapsed to the ground, his eyes vacant as he had no idea what to do.

"Lord Supreme Kai, you need to pull yourself together! Only you can protect this universe!!"

Seeing Supreme Kai Shin slumped on the ground, Kibito hurriedly helped him up and encouraged him.

Only after a long while did Supreme Kai Shin finally pull himself together. Kibito was right—he could not fall.

So the two returned to Earth to gather information. From the people who had been revived, they confirmed that Majin Buu had truly been resurrected and had killed many people on Earth.

However, after cautiously searching Earth for a long time, Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito found no trace of Babidi or Majin Buu. They also did not encounter Gogeta's group, because Majin Buu had not yet caused destruction near the basement, while Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito had been following the traces Majin Buu left behind.

Then, they went into space to search for Babidi and Majin Buu.

But after searching the universe for more than half a month, they still found neither Babidi nor Majin Buu. They found nothing at any of Babidi's bases across the universe.

So the two returned to Earth and searched again. This time, they thoroughly turned the entire planet upside down, and thus encountered Gogeta's group.

"Yo, Lord Supreme Kai!!"

Future Trunks warmly greeted Supreme Kai Shin upon seeing him. He had been wondering how to find the Lord Supreme Kai, only for the man to appear on his own.

Gogeta also emerged from his meditation, while Trunks and Gogeta's clone stopped training as well.

"You know me?"

Supreme Kai Shin was somewhat surprised. Someone here actually recognized him?

"Well, it's a bit complicated."

Future Trunks tried to explain things as concisely as possible, but it was still shocking.

Gods of Destruction, angels, Grand Zeno, Zamasu, Goku Black, time travel... what even were all these things? He had never even heard of them.

Supreme Kai Shin was still just as ignorant. Without Old Supreme Kai's guidance, he knew nothing at all.

Supreme Kai Shin had no time to figure out why this person knew him. The urgent matter was finding Majin Buu.

Supreme Kai Shin briefly described Majin Buu and Babidi to the three of them.

"Have you seen these two?"

"Babidi and Majin Buu."

Gogeta answered indifferently.

"I already took care of them."

Gogeta stood up, jumped down from the small hill where he had been sitting cross-legged in meditation, and walked over to Future Trunks.

"No matter which timeline you're from, you're always the same—running around after Babidi and Majin Buu while throwing your responsibilities as Supreme Kai completely to the back of your mind."

Gogeta added, "Go to the Supreme Kai World."

"What are we going to the divine realm for?"

Supreme Kai Shin was confused.

"To make you see this world clearly."

Gogeta raised his head. A terrifying look filled his eyes as a fearsome aura erupted from him, only to vanish in an instant.

"My body... won't move."

Cold sweat poured down Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito's faces. Gogeta's terrifying power had frightened even their bodies into freezing.

"Let's go."

Kibito obediently brought everyone to the Supreme Kai World.

"Where is the Supreme Kai Sword?"

Gogeta looked at Supreme Kai Shin.

"Follow me. It's over there."

Supreme Kai Shin pointed in a direction.

The five of them arrived at a stone pillar, where the Supreme Kai Sword was embedded.

Gogeta grabbed the Supreme Kai Sword and pulled lightly, drawing it out with ease and leaving Kibito staring in astonishment.

Then, under Kibito's stunned gaze, Gogeta snapped the Supreme Kai Sword in two.

"Ah—ugh!!"

"The Supreme Kai Sword broke!!"

Kibito practically doubted his entire existence.

A figure emerged from the broken sword—it was Old Supreme Kai.

"Oh my, oh my, someone finally let me out."

Old Supreme Kai was overjoyed. After being sealed away for so long, he was finally free.

"Sir, who are you?"

Supreme Kai Shin asked Old Supreme Kai.

"I am the Supreme Kai from... hmm? Fifteen generations before you."

Old Supreme Kai counted on his fingers, thought carefully, and answered.

"A-ancestor!!"

Supreme Kai Shin was too shocked for words.

"A very, very long time ago, there was a terrible fellow who feared my power and sealed me inside the Supreme Kai Sword."

Old Supreme Kai nodded as he spoke, as though that would make the story more convincing even to himself.

"I'm finally free again."

Old Supreme Kai twisted his waist and stretched his body, speaking happily.

Gogeta rolled his eyes and exposed him without hesitation.

"Lord Beerus sealed you because he was afraid you'd die, right?"

Old Supreme Kai, who had been stretching, nearly popped his eyes out.

"What?!"

"How did you know??"

"Because of this ignorant junior of yours. He knows nothing about Gods of Destruction, Angels, or Grand Zeno. He ran around everywhere chasing Majin Buu. If I hadn't used Namek's Shenron to wish him back to life, he would've been dead long ago."

Gogeta shook his head and pointed at Supreme Kai Shin.

"I released you so you could properly teach him and keep him from messing around again."

"What?"

Old Supreme Kai was so furious that he jumped up and down, then punched Supreme Kai Shin on the head.

"You idiot! What the hell is Majin Buu that you had to run all over the world after him? Do you even know what a Supreme Kai is supposed to do?"

"Uh, well..."

Supreme Kai Shin fidgeted and avoided Old Supreme Kai's gaze.

"Huff... huff... huff..."

Old Supreme Kai was so angry he could barely breathe. Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito hurriedly supported him and helped calm him down.

Only then did Old Supreme Kai recover.

"Thank you so much. I'll make sure to properly teach this junior of mine."

"Starting today, you'll study under me. I'll fill in all those gaps in your knowledge."

Old Supreme Kai first thanked Gogeta, then pointed at Supreme Kai Shin's nose and declared loudly.

"Um, well..."

At that moment, Trunks suddenly spoke up.

"Lord Old Supreme Kai, can you contact Mr. Whis and Lord Beerus?"
