Return, Guiding Vegeta

After Gogeta returned to his own timeline, he used Instant Transmission to appear beside Tights and hugged her. Tights was startled, but when she saw it was Gogeta, her anger immediately flared. He had promised he would be right back, yet he had been gone for half a year. She reached out and viciously pinched his waist.

"Ow, ow, ow!!"

Gogeta hurriedly begged for mercy. Why did every woman know this move?

"Hmph, now you know how formidable I am!"

Seeing Gogeta beg for mercy, Tights looked thoroughly pleased with herself.

"Of course. My wife is the most formidable."

Gogeta immediately massaged Tights's shoulders and pounded her legs. If Tights was not satisfied, he would have no choice but to sleep on the couch tonight.

"At least you know what's good for you."

Tights gave Gogeta a look that said, You're catching on, kid.

Then Gogeta held Tights and learned about everything that had happened on Earth during this time.

From Tights, he learned that after Vegeta and Nappa arrived on Earth, they were intercepted by Piccolo and the others, and the two sides engaged in a fierce battle. Later, Goku arrived and fought Vegeta one-on-one. The two were both severely injured. Vegeta created an artificial moon and transformed into a Great Ape, but in the end, everyone worked together to defeat him. However, they did not kill him and let him return.

But during the fight, Vegeta revealed information about the Dragon Balls, which Frieza overheard. Frieza headed straight for Earth. After being notified by King Kai, Goku and the others made thorough preparations, but Frieza was simply too powerful, and everyone was wiped out. In the end, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan and defeated Frieza before heading to Namek to seek help.

Goku then encountered Frieza's father, King Cold, on Namek. The two fought fiercely, and it ended with Namek's destruction and King Cold's death. Just like in the original story, Goku also went to Planet Yardrat to train.

The Namekians used the Dragon Balls to find another place suitable for living.

Hearing that Goku was not on Earth, Gogeta breathed a sigh of relief.

After that, Gohan continued training under Master Roshi, while Piccolo and Tien Shinhan returned to their own places to train. Yamcha and Bulma broke up, and he indulged himself in debauchery outside while Vegeta successfully took his place.

Gogeta and Tights spent the entire day being lovey-dovey. They even sat on the same chair while eating, and they nearly bathed together. Luckily, Gogeta stopped himself in time. Otherwise, if things got out of hand, drawing blood would not have been good.

Early the next morning, Gogeta got up bright and early and went to the dining room for breakfast. The moment he entered, he saw Vegeta eating breakfast.

"Yo! Vegeta's up this early?"

Hearing someone call him, Vegeta looked up, and his pupils contracted. This guy? He was a Saiyan.

Vegeta immediately spotted the tail behind Gogeta. How was that possible? Aside from himself and Kakarot, there was another pure-blooded Saiyan?

"Who are you?"

Vegeta's expression was hostile as he stared intently at Gogeta, as though he would attack the next second.

"Don't be so tense, Vegeta."

Gogeta walked over to the dining table and sat down, instructing the chef to make him breakfast.

Vegeta's gaze never left Gogeta for a moment. He could not gauge the man before him at all. Even when Kakarot transformed into a Super Saiyan, he could sense Kakarot's immense power. But this man before him felt elusive and intangible. When he closed his eyes, he could not sense the man's existence at all, yet when he opened them, the man was undeniably right in front of him.

"My name is Gogeta. I'm..."

Gogeta briefly introduced himself and explained his origins.

"I see. Just like Kakarot."

After hearing Gogeta's introduction, Vegeta summed it up simply and clearly.

"Huh?"

Hearing Vegeta say that, Gogeta got hard—his fists got hard. Although it was true that both he and Goku had been exiled to extremely remote planets because their potential was too poor, hearing it said out loud still annoyed Gogeta. So he decided to give Vegeta a good beating. Damn it, if he did not know how to talk, he should keep his mouth shut.

After quickly finishing breakfast, Gogeta said to Vegeta, "Do you want to know how to become a Super Saiyan?"

Vegeta dreamed of becoming a Super Saiyan. Hearing this, he answered without hesitation.

"Of course I do. What, you know how?"

"Of course. It's just Super Saiyan."

The corners of Gogeta's mouth curled up as he transformed on the spot. A golden aura enveloped his entire body, making him look like an oversized light bulb from afar.

Seeing Gogeta truly transform into a Super Saiyan, Vegeta angrily clenched his fists.

"How do I become a Super Saiyan?"

"Is that how you ask someone for help?"

Gogeta crossed his arms and simply looked at Vegeta. Vegeta clenched his fists tightly, feeling extremely humiliated. As the prince of the Saiyans, when had he ever begged anyone for anything?

The two remained deadlocked for a while. In the end, Vegeta lowered his head.

"Please teach me how to become a Super Saiyan."

Gogeta nodded in satisfaction, then flew out through the window.

"Follow me."

Of everything Gogeta had said, Vegeta had only taken in the word "anger." He couldn't understand the rest at all—what S-cells, a calm heart, a steady mind... all of that could go to hell.

Vegeta threw back his head and roared, unleashing all his power. But there was no change whatsoever.

Seeing Vegeta like this, Gogeta knew he definitely hadn't understood, so he provoked him.

"Vegeta, if you can't transform into a Super Saiyan, then Kakarot will trample you underfoot for the rest of your life. Maybe even Gohan will be able to transform someday, and the gap between you and them will only grow wider. In the end, you won't even be able to see their backs."

Hearing this, a surge of rage rose in Vegeta's heart. How could he let Kakarot trample him underfoot? He raged at himself for being unable to become a Super Saiyan. Vegeta questioned himself over and over, until his fury finally reached its peak and golden light began to glow around him.

Vegeta let out a mighty roar and finally transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Vegeta felt incredibly exhilarated. He could finally transform into a Super Saiyan too. Right now, he felt invincible, power endlessly surging from within his body. He felt that he could defeat Kakarot—and Gogeta standing before him.

A classic smile appeared on Vegeta's face. As everyone knew, whenever Vegeta wore a confident smile, he was in for a vicious beating. This time was no exception.
