Background

The Uchiha and Senju clans ended the Warring States Period by making peace and helped shape both Hidden Leaf and the wider modern ninja world. Under Hidden Leaf, however, the Uchiha became increasingly confined to the Military Police Force and excluded from meaningful political authority. 48

Great Elder Uchiha Setsuna led the clan’s Hawk Faction and preserved historical records describing the periodic emergence of exceptional Uchiha. He interpreted Mo as the latest such figure and a possible successor to Madara’s legacy. 20 21

Before Mo’s rise, Fugaku led the clan while seeking better treatment through cooperation and military service to Hidden Leaf. Mo rejected that approach, arguing that the Uchiha should not remain dependent on a village that used their strength while withholding power. 20 42 46

Miko Village Expansion
