History

Meng Hongchen had already awakened her Vermilion-Eyed Ice Toad and innate full soul power by the time Yan Hongchen underwent his own awakening. Together with Xiao Hongchen, she was celebrated as one of the Sun Moon Twin Prodigies. She returned from a soul-hunting journey with Xiao and Jing Hongchen shortly after Yan's awakening, then proudly declared that she would protect her younger brother after learning of his exceptional talent. 2 4 5

She trained under Liu Yueming, whose ice-toad martial soul gave her more suitable guidance than Yi Hongchen could provide. As Yan's responsibilities and Liu's spiritual injury weighed on the family, Meng helped care for her mother and came to understand the burden Yan carried. 8 33

Meng and Xiao developed the martial soul fusion skill Mortal Longing and later joined Yan at the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy.
