Background / History

Yi Hongchen is a member of the Hongchen Family and the husband of Liu Yueming. He is the father of Xiao Hongchen, Meng Hongchen, and Yan Hongchen. His family survived a near-fatal accident before Yan’s birth; afterward, Yi and the rest of the family hoped Yan could grow up peacefully and safely. 2 58

During Yan Hongchen’s martial soul awakening, Yi channels his soul power into the awakening stones. He is overwhelmed with pride after learning that Yan possesses twin martial souls and innate full soul power, but immediately recognizes the danger posed by Yan’s heart body martial soul and the Body Sect’s practice of forcefully recruiting such talents. 1 2

Yi and Liu Yueming decide to conceal Yan’s talent and martial soul details from outsiders.
